    Great pool and location

    We stayed for 5 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment itself was spacious, and had a nice view. It was however tired, not overly clean and not very family friendly with the heavy, glass and metal furniture choices. They do not supply spare bin bags or toilet paper in the rooms which is very poor for a mantra. We had a broom in the room but no brush and shovel to pickup the dirt. The dishwasher was broken and some of the utensils were also broken.We appreciated having a washer and dryer.The pool area was absolutely beautiful. Pools, spas and kids play area were all great! Location was good, and it was easy to get around- 5 minute walk to the beach, 2 minute walk to the tram, and bus stops nearby if heading to theme parks etc.Would recommend to families wanting a great pool and not planning on spending much time in their apartment.Having 2 on site restaurants was a huge plus too!

    Apartment was comfortable and well equipped. The floor and the apartment had a terrible smell the whole time we were there. Not sure what it was. Hotel facilities have everything you need Tram is affordable and excellent. Can reach everything via public transport

    Disappointing and Dirty

    After searching online for a suitable apartment for four adults and two small children, we came across the Mantra Crown Towers and what pulled us in was the amazing looking pirate ship pool facilities which we knew the children would love. The pictures of the apartments were very good and the rooms all looked clean and updated. Unfortunately upon arrival we were met with a notice on the reception counter that said the pirate ship pool was closed for maintenance and had been for the last month. We were very disappointed to read this, although were assured the lagoon pool and indoor pool were open. We proceeded to our two bedroom apartment on level 28 where we were greeted by the most ghastly smell when we got out of the lift. On arrival to our room, the disappointment sank in again when we saw how old, dated and dirty the apartment actually was. Our apartment backed on to what turned out to be a nighttime raceway and the single glazed windows made the noise inside very noisy to the point where it woke the children very early most mornings. The staff however were all very welcoming and helpful. We also had a tram stop out the back of the facility which was handy to travel to Cavill Ave. The apartment did have all the necessary facilities, however we constantly had to go to reception and ask for toilet paper and rubbish bin liners, as although we were there for 7 nights, there definitely wasn't enough of a supply in the room. Overall our stay was very disappointing and the rooms definitely need to be updated and all have a flipping good clean, as per the pictures attached.. this is how we found our apartment on arrival! 😔The floors looked filthy, the dust under the microwave hadn't been cleaned for I don't know how long, the filters in the dishwasher were choca block (the picture shows the state of the dishwasher after a load) and this is how we arrived and found the toilet when the seat was put up! 🤢Unfortunately, we won't be back!

    3 bedroom on the 35th floor

    Stayed 3 nights, 3brm apartment on 35th floor booked thru Mantra. Riverside expansive view and a small view of the ocean to the north from the main bedroom, which had a double rainhead shower. Could not see the adjacent building works from our apartment. Modern decor, comfortable beds and very clean. A rug under the coffee table is a suggestion to the owner as the tiles were hard on the 1 and 2 year old toddlers. Good safety lock on balcony was appreciated. Pools and spas were amazing, Thai restaurant yum and loaded with gorgeous traditional decor. Reception staff were prompt to serve you and efficient. I stay twice a year at the Gold Coast and this is a place I’d return to.

    Cash only, what a joke

    Pool kiosk only accepts cash because apparently they can’t get wifi to it to accept card payments. What a joke in this day and age. I pay for everything on my phone, I don’t even know how to get cash out of a machine anymore.
