Location

One of Queensland’s largest, this spa resort is situated in the heart of the Gold Coast, half way between the magnificent beaches of Surfers’ Paradise and the rainforests of the hinterland.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 331 rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. The daily newspaper is laid out for guests in the the rooms. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

The pool complex ensures comfortable swimming with its indoor and outdoor pools and pleasantly heated water. Children can enjoy a special swimming area just for them. Pure relaxation in the hot tub, fun on the waterslide and refreshing drinks at the pool bar – guests will experience just how rich and varied a day in the water can be. Guests can relax and enjoy the sun loungers and parasols provided. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking, tennis and golf are available. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym and billiards. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments. Children are well looked after in the kids' club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast and dinner. For dinner, guests can order à la carte. A set menu can be ordered at dinner. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options.

    I stayed a weekend at Royal Pines attending a Rotary International District Conference. Check in was very easy. Room was very clean and comfortable with a nice view over a playground and the golf course. Catering supplied with the conference was great. Meals were great. Conference facilities were very good. What really surprise me was how friendly each and every staff member was. It didn't matter which area they were in or what job they had, everyone was happy and helpful.

    Had a great stay at RACV Royal Pines Resort during our recent conference on the Gold Coast. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the conference facilities were excellent and professionally organised.The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to assist throughout the stay. Breakfast had a great variety, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was relaxing and enjoyable after busy conference days.A great location with beautiful surroundings, and I would definitely recommend this resort for both business events and family getaways. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

    We had such a wonderful stay as a family. The environment was safe, clean, and very welcoming for children. The facilities kept everyone entertained, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. It was a perfect place to create special family memories. Also the breakfast was absolutely outstanding. There was a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options, and everything we tried was delicious. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were exceptional. It was the perfect way to start each day.

    We recently stayed at RACV Royal Pines Resort for a 2-night family getaway, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience from start to finish.The highlight for us was definitely how family-friendly the resort is. The kids absolutely loved the water play area and spent hours there, while the arcade and dedicated kids’ play spaces kept them entertained throughout the stay. It made the whole trip feel relaxed because there was always something for them to do.The swimming pool area was another big win — spacious, clean, and perfect for both kids and adults. The poolside bar added a nice touch, making it easy to unwind while keeping an eye on the kids.Breakfast was a standout. The buffet was brilliant, with a wide variety of options and consistently high quality — easily one of the better resort breakfasts we’ve had.The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and ideal for a family stay. Nothing over the top, but everything you need to feel at ease.Overall, this resort strikes a great balance between relaxation and family fun. If you’re travelling with kids and want a place where everyone is genuinely catered for, this is a solid choice on the Gold Coast. We’d definitely consider coming back.
