Ideally located at 2346 Gold Coast Highway, this club resort is only 300 metres from Mermaid Beach. Some of the city's famous places including Carrara Markets, Timezone Gold Coast and Bond University are just 2 km away from the resort. Gold Coast (Coolangatta) airport is approximately 15 km from the beach hotel.

Facility

A pleasant ambience awaits guests in 298 rooms. English-speaking staff are happy to assist and advise. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden.     Great accommodation for couples or families on Gold Coast

    Stayed here while attending Broadbeach blues festival as a couple. This resort caters for families however as a couple we were very happy. Self contained room with all amenities you require. Our room was very quiet and spacious. There is a woolworths next door so you can stock up on essentials. Bus stop outside resort so we could get to and from festival in minutes. Few minute walk to beach. We would stay again and recommend to couples or families. Staff were friendly and helpful.     Pleasantly surprised.

    We were pleasantly surprised by this resort. Unlike other resorts, the reception area is modest and low key. The check in process was seamless, and our room was ready sooner than we expected, which is a big plus for us.Other things we look for in our getaways are:1. Size and cleanliness of the room.2. Back out curtains so we can sleep in.3. Proximity to amities (bonus point for room service)4. Free parking.5. Late check out if possible.Turtle beach resort ticked all these! access to BBQ areas, pools, and an inhouse pizza joint pushed it on top of our ranking list.I highly recommend this place especially for families with kids.     Turtle Beach Resort needs some improvements in the essential amenities area.

    The resort is ideally situated. Great for families. The Adult pool was terrific. The cons of this resort, they charge $5.00/person for pool towels. They also only allocate two rolls of toilet tissue for the unit. You then have to purchase the toilet issue - 2 rolls for $3.99. It was much cheaper at the grocery store. It would be better if they charged an amenities fee for the week. Paying for essentials makes the resort look extremely cheap. Never in 30 years of doing timeshare resorts have I ever had to pay for toilet tissue.     Terrific Turtle Beach

    Our family adored this resort. We had five nights here and the kids didn’t want to leave. The resort really has everything for everyone. So many pools, a restaurant, a gym, mini golf, beach stuff you can borrow and in a great location. Just a couple of doors down from the supermarket. Just a couple of blocks back from the beach. And just a couple of minutes away from Pacific Fair mall. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. One day our kettle stopped working. After being at the front pool I stopped at the reception and told them that it doesn’t click off from boiling. The lady noted it down and said that she would send someone to have a look at it. We walked back to our room. We had literally just closed the door when there was a knock at the door and it was the maintenance man with a replacement jug! Talk about service! We had a great apartment and it was perfect for our family. We really loved our time here and would return again to stay given the op portunity and high recommend this gorgeous place for all those families wanting to visit the Gold Coast.     AVOID AVOID AVOID

    Turtle beach has aged rather badly in recent years and although in other reviews management is insistent that they are looking at these issues it’s clear that they haven’t. A couple of tips I strongly recommend - go to Woolworths just two seconds down the road and stock up on basic essentials. Any request for additional items due to the insufficient ones originally supplied will be an exhorbant overpriced nasty surprise on top of your accomodation. Do not complain though because the manager will not budge one little bit to be accomodating or indeed compromise one bit to make up for any shortcomings. Your mother died and can’t make ur booking? No exceptions. Read previous reviews. They are rude and dismissive. Pools are gross and cockroaches in bathrooms. I found Ubers were cheaper to use to transport to airport and theme parks than using their ‘courtesy’ bus. Absolute ripoff. Management say they are self contained hence hardly any supplies but what exactly are you paying for? Unsanitary pools, unaccomdating staff and management and overpriced unit that you have to practically clean within an inch of your life to avoid extra charges. Splash park looks tired and old, needs updating and avoid any seafood dish at the deck restaurant. It’s all frozen and tasted revolting. All in all will never book here again.
