  Do not visit until construction is complete

  This building is under going major renovations and should be closed for this work. Our allocated room was uninhabitable due to construction noise from jack hammering, after the first night of complaining we were offered another room, despite being told in a txt message that we had been sent an email explaining the construction arrangements for the next day , we did not receive any email, the next day entry to the building was via a side door, we had to work this out ourselves. We do acknowledge that renovation activity can cause disruption, and we regret that this impacted your experience.For clarity, the refurbishment works are confined to the reception and common areas of the building which was advised prior to your arrival as notifications regarding the scheduled renovations were issued in advance. It is therefore disappointing that, despite being informed of the construction activity, you elected to proceed with the booking and have since expressed surprise at the presence of works.To assist, we provided early check-in for you on arrival and, following your concerns about noise, relocated you to a higher-floor apartment at your request in an effort to reduce disruption. Our team acted promptly to provide practical solutions.With regard to communication, advance notice was issued outlining temporary entry arrangements. We regret if you were unable to locate that email. Signage was also in place directing guests to the alternate access point.We must also address that the recorded call to our concierge team during this matter was aggressive and abusive in tone. While we understand that renovation noise can be frustrating, disrespectful communication toward staff is not tolerated. Our team deserves to be treated with courtesy at all times.While we respect every guest’s right to share their experience, we do not consider this review to be a balanced or helpful reflection of the circumstances, particularly given the advance notice provided and the assistance offered during your stay.We are carefully managing these works so that the upgraded reception and common areas will provide an enhanced experience for all future guests.We wish you well moving forward.

  Second vist and so disappointed

  We stayed at these apartments two years ago and had a wonderful time, so we were very excited to return. Given the premium rate, we expected the best, but our stay was a serious letdown.Before arrival, I had requested a room on a high floor. However, upon checking in, we were assigned room 703, which is on the first floor of accommodation. After raising this with Management, we were offered a higher-floor apartment, but by then we had already unpacked in our level 7 apartment. This made me question why a higher-level apartment wasn't offered initially. The noise from the traffic and streets was very noticeable on level 7, and the room itself felt tired and uncomfortable. The couch looked like it came from a thrift store, there was no fan in the bathroom, and the vent was clogged with dust.During our stay, renovations were being done on the pool area, which took longer than we had been previously advised. The communication regarding this was poorly managed and impersonal, as it was done via email. It was only after making two proactive phone calls that I could discuss this disappointing issue. The lack of a pool was a significant letdown for us. When I discussed this with the General Manager after our arrival, he was dismissive and very defensive, which left me very upset.Given the overall unprofessional service and the tired, uncomfortable rooms, we will be finding another place to stay for our annual trip to Broadbeach. As discussed, an apartment on a higher floor became available the following day after another guest’s departure, and this was offered to you immediately. We appreciate that by this time you had already unpacked, and we understand your decision not to move rooms.Lounge and Room ConditionRegarding the furniture, the leather lounge in your apartment was recently installed by the owner and is a high-quality piece selected specifically to enhance guest comfort. We are sorry to hear that it did not meet your expectations.In relation to the bathroom ventilation, the building’s ventilation system had been knocked offline due to the severe electrical storms experienced during your stay. This issue affected multiple systems and was only fully restored three days prior to your departure. We apologise for the impact this may have had on your stay and appreciate your patience during an unexpected outage.Pool Renovations and CommunicationInformation regarding the scheduled pool works was emailed to all arriving guests two weeks prior to their stay, as well as communicated again during their visit. While the projected timeline shifted slightly, the delay was limited to one day due to repairs required on the elevator the builders were using. During this time, all guests were offered complimentary access to the swimming facilities at a resort located just 100 metres away to minimise inconvenience.Service ExperienceWe are sincerely sorry if your interaction with our management team left you feeling dismissed. This is never the experience we intend for our guests, and your comments will be reviewed carefully to ensure we deliver communication that is both professional and empathetic at all times.We genuinely value your feedback, as it highlights areas where we can continue to improve.   The ocean view room was absolutely fantastic. Close to the shops and food outlets, it’s so central to everything.   Worth every penny - we will stay again !

  Welcome to Republic of Me Travel, and our review of Ultiqa Air serviced apartments on Broadbeach, Gold Coast Australia.Located right across the road from Kurrawa and just 15 minutes walk to Star Casino, we were very impressed with our stay at Ultiqa Air on Broadbeach. We booked a 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a coastal view, and it was truly stunning. Take a look at the full review on our YouTube channel for more info.The moment we stepped into the apartment, we knew we were in for a treat. The view from the massive balcony was breathtaking – and even though we were only on the tenth floor, we could see the coastline of Surfers Paradise, along with the famous gold coast cityscape, which really lights up at night.We have to say, the apartment itself was very very spacious and well-appointed, clean and everything worked. We've read a lot of reviews about this accommodation, and there appears to have been a few disgruntled guests in the past commenting on cleanliness and value for money. Well, we can't speak for every room in the building, but our room ten zero one, was just perfect all round. In fact, we loved it! The only thing we found difficult was the very low toilets, but this is no fault of the apartments - i guess we can all thank the builder for sore knees (or strong quads), as the case may be !The living area was perfect for relaxing, and the huge kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, along with a super long benchtop for food preparation.But the real highlight was the balcony. We spent hours just sitting there, taking in the view, and watching the sunset. We also really loved the external shutter system for the apartment. We've never seen anything quite like this system, which is an internally controllable motorized shutter that helps to block heat and light from the western sunsets the apartment enjoys. We found this feature to be ultra modern, and very very cool.The location was also perfect. We're just a short walk from the beach, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants right beneath the building. We loved the chinese food at the Grand Dynasty restaurant, just sayin'.During the day we walked to the nearby cafes for breakfast, and it was lovely. The area was lively, but the apartment was surprisingly quiet once the doors and windows were closed.One thing that really stood out was the responsiveness of the staff. We had a few questions before arrival, and they were quick to respond. We checked in after ours and it was hassle-free, and we were able to get into the apartment very fast.We've also read a lot of negative reviews about the parking situation here. Well again, we have to say we were very pleased that parking was included in the room rate as complimentary, which doesn't often occur with the hotel chains in the area, as parking can be expensive. It was a bit tricky to figure out at first go, but its like anything else, once you've done it once it becomes easy.Overall, I would highly recommend Ultiqa Air on Broadbeach to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The coastal view 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for us, and we loved every minute of our stay. I think what really made our stay special was the combination of the stunning view, the comfortable apartment, and the great location. It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Surfers Paradise.In conclusion, Ultiqa Air on Broadbeach is a great choice for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Surfers Paradise.
