The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a desk are also available. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine, an ironing set and a tumble dryer. The bathrooms have a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer is also provided. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and golf are available. Water sports available at the complex include jet skiing, banana boat rides, sailing, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    We’ve just returned from a week in the Whitsundays and spent 3 nights at Mirage Whitsundays with our 7-year-old son. This was our first time staying in apartment-style accommodation (we usually stay in hotels and resorts) and we were honestly blown away.The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, bigger than our own apartment in Sydney. We absolutely loved it. Everything felt open, airy and comfortable, and despite the size, the entire place was immaculate. You could tell real care goes into housekeeping.The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it so easy to relax and feel at home. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment, with laundry liquid sachets provided, was also incredibly convenient and such a thoughtful touch when travelling with a child.The lounge area deserves a special mention. It was huge, with a big comfortable couch and a large TV with all the streaming services available. It made our evenings so easy and relaxing after long days out exploring and swimming.Breakfast each morning was simple but great. It’s a smaller breakfast area and breakfast is included, so we weren’t expecting anything extravagant, but it was more than enough. A proper cooked breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms and pancakes. We loved starting each day slowly, sitting out in the sun on the patio with beautiful views over the Coral Coast. It felt very calm and unhurried.The pool area was another highlight. We swam for hours every day and both times we visited we had a cabana to ourselves, which made it feel even more relaxing. Cocktails from the bar were also excellent and perfect for a holiday afternoon.What really stood out, though, was the service. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, friendly and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Lots of smiles, helpful attitudes and a very relaxed, welcoming energy throughout the property.This stay truly exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for spacious, clean, comfortable accommodation in the Whitsundays that feels like a home away from home, Mirage Whitsundays is a fantastic choice. We would absolutely stay again.     Mistakenly made a non refundable reservation for 2027 when it should've been 2026. Mirage Whitsundays refused to refund even when made aware that we were from the UK and wouldn't be in Australia in 2027. Completely unhelpful and jobsworth. Please make sure you double check your booking before confirming it as you will be stitched up

    Absolutely superb! Accommodation perfect, staff friendly and helpful. Wifi - not so great and the Gin bar would have let the whole experience down if you expected something decent. The location is brilliant a nice half hours stroll home in the evening from the bars and restaurants in Town and 20 min from the shops the other way. If you dont want to walk the free bus into town is available at set times.     Beautiful Deluxe 2 Bed Apartment

    Summary:Stayed in a Deluxe 2-Bedroom Apartment with breakfast and sea views at Mirage. Check-in was smooth, with easy access close to reception. The first-floor apartment (stairs only) was bright, spacious, and offered stunning ocean views from large balcony windows.The apartment was well equipped, featuring two large bedrooms with modern bathrooms, quality toiletries, ample storage, and beach towels provided. The master bedroom had a private sea-view balcony and luxurious bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and essentials, and the living area included a large sofa and smart TV.Guests enjoyed a balcony with seating and sunbed, mid-stay cleaning for longer stays, and access to on-site pools, gym, and restaurant. Shops were a 10-minute walk away, and Airlie Beach was about 20 minutes along a scenic coastal path. Overall, the property was central, clean, and highly recommended.     Fantastic Apartments with see view, the decoration and size is awesome, it worth's to stay more time. Swimming pool is nice to have after a beach day, the distance to the center is a nice walking distance of around 20 minutes.
