    Looked after us when our car broke down near Colac late at night, with an easy late night check in and provided us with phone chargers and assistance in finding alternative transport. Comfy beds and pillows and split system to keep us toasty warm on a chilly night.

    The initial experience was favourable, ease of booking and reception. Asked for and got an early checkout. Settled down for nights clean room, great bed, shower room and food facilities.a settled for early night and got woken by rumbling through wall from fridge or aircon. loud enough to be heard over sound from the tv. As a light sleeper got up early and left. Having settled in and non reception phone did not seem much point in asking for new room. So if you are a light sleeper ask first. Room was way down back so even main street noise overtaken by this rumbling machine..

    Arranged accommodation on their web site at the end of April for a May overnight stay. I was quoted $140.00 and paid on my credit card. Received my credit card statement and was charged $164.00. Contacted management immediately to discuss this issue, who then explained that any bookings via Colac Mid Motel website is transferred to Expedia and they take the payment with their added fees. After a lengthy conversation with management and their excuses that the Motel was under new management and I will not be receiving any refund.

    Unclean motel and bad management! I would not pay $160 a night for this room again!management did not blink an eye when I showed them pics of our room when we opened it ,she just blamed it on new management and said have a great day !

    The impression of the place from the street is poor, but this is a substantial establishment with good, clean, sizeable rooms. It has all the usual facilities, comfortable beds and good bathroom. Plenty of parking spaces.
