    Fantastic stay - kids loved it

    Really nice stay for 2 nights. Everything you could ask for was available — gym, gaming room, lawn tennis, and the best part was the swimming pool for the kids along with the sauna and spa for us.The staff were really nice and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to the staff members (Archie and sorry, we don’t remember the name of the female staff member) who kindly provided cookies for the kids on request and arranged an extra-wide parking space for us, as my large SUV wasn’t fitting in the initially assigned spot on the day of arrival.Excellent location with beautiful views and plenty of food options nearby. My kids absolutely loved the place, and we will definitely be visiting again. Thanks again to all the staff for making our stay so pleasant.     Ok but not worth the money

    Location can’t be complained about, but the pricing for the room was very expensive for what you actually got. The place feels very tired and in need of a complete makeover. We stayed in what they called the “penthouse,” but it definitely didn’t feel luxurious or worthy of that title.I wouldn’t have paid more than $700 for two nights in the “penthouse.” While it was cleaned, the standard still wasn’t great. The bedroom window at the back was also popped out, which made the room feel unsafe and caused a constant cold breeze throughout the bedroom.     Stunning location and views, but unfortunately the overall experience fell well short.

    The location was perfect with beautiful views, which was a real highlight. Unfortunately, the overall stay was disappointing. The room was very dated and only semi‑clean, with mold in the bathroom. The mattress was extremely old and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the pool was closed on Sunday, which was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here.     The resort was well located to be able to walk around Lorne easily and the rooms were a high standard. Our interactions with the staff were well responded to and nothing was too much trouble.I would choose to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone that seeks a quiet and relaxing break.
