Location

The resort is situated just moments from the beautiful beaches of Torquay. It is also located just one hour from Melbourne, 10 minutes from Bells Beach and 20 minutes from Geelong.

Facility

The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The resort offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop.     We had a lovely stay. Staff were very friendly and we were able to check in early. The room itself was spacious and clean. The bed was incredibly comfy and I had the best sleep I’ve had in a while.

    A great start to the Great Ocean Road

    After flying into Tullamarine Airport, we headed into Melbourne and later made our way to Torquay for the first night of our Victorian adventure. The Sands was a comfortable spot as the room was clean with a beautiful view of the golf course. It was a perfect place to launch our trip on the Great Ocean Road.

    We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the resort. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. The à la carte breakfast was a real highlight, offering a delicious variety of freshly prepared options each morning. We also really enjoyed the excellent gym and swimming pool facilities, as well as the golf course and tennis court, which added to the overall experience. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We would definitely return!

    Stayed for 3 nights. Receptionist on arrival was very abrupt. Public areas are dated and drab, nowhere comfortable to dine or sit for a drink. Most of tday the swimming pool was booked for school swims so, apart from half a lane , was unavailable. Parents of the many swimmers were allowed to walk beside the pool in outdoor footwear!The only good point was Tracy who was charming and professional.
