The staff at the Wongai are amazing! They are attentive and accommodating. A special shout out to Ellen who is forever happy and helpful. She works so hard and keeps onto everything - it’s like she floats across the floor! Thanks to all for looking after me when I am there. Stayed at the Wongai in May 2026. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. We were picked up from the ferry from TI and stayed a couple of nights. Car hires is available from the hotel and we explored the island and found some delightful little beaches off the beaten track.Rooms at the hotel were cosy, clean and comfortable. Meals from the kitchen were good with a reasonable selection of choices. I had a great stay at Wongai Beach Hotel. The rooms are self-contained, clean, comfy beds, and everything you need. The pool is awesome. Short walk to the supermarket. Food in the restaurant is delicious - I had the steak. They offered me a transfer to the airport and even stayed late when my plane was delayed by 3 hours. Exceptional stay. I'll be back!
