Location

This resort is situated at the heart of Pokolbin wine country in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. Guests will find fabulous award-winning restaurants close by. It is about 50 minutes from Newcastle and 90 minutes from Sydney.

Facility

70 rooms are available. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services include medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, tea/coffee station and oven. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and pleasantly heated water to ensure comfortable swimming. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including tennis, golf and billiards.

    Great location, clean and comfortable. Had a great weekend in the hunter. EV charging was handy too. Staff were very nice.

    Great spot, very relaxing and close to some really nice wineries and food spots. Has a pool with great views of a vineyard. Is close to the gardens.     Positives: Excellent cleaning done by staff. Spotless inside. Great shower pressure with good heat. Very comfortable bed and linen. Very quiet considering close to main road. Spacious accommodation and good for two people (QB - 1 bedroom). Lovely soft brushed cotton towels. Close to cafe within walking distance. The best feature was the cleanliness of the room, the warm shower, soft towels and the pool. We loved the pool. Negatives: On your website it says that the cafe is open and it was not at all when we stayed. This was disappointing. The air conditioner only just cooled our hot room and had a hammer tapping sound which was annoying. The fan was horribly loud and didn't work on level 2. The spa bath is not really a spa but more a bath. Should have Netflix attached rather than outdated DVD player. We didn't use the TV at all. Very dirty curtains at base. Curtains had large rips and holes in them. Need replacing. One bedside lamp didn't work at all. The ADSL internet is outdated and sketchy.     Great location, exceptional value for money.

    We loved our stay at the Leisure Inn and thought it was great value for money. The clean, comfortable rooms have everything you need to prepare a simple meal in house- microwave, crockery, cutlery, wine and champagne glasses etc. We also got to see a two-bedroom apartment and they are HUGE with full kitchen, two bathrooms, seperate lounge room-amazing! The units are designed so every room has a private patio from which to enjoy a view of the beautiful, spacious grounds. It is very serene and quiet. The pool is large and lovely and the other recreational facilities are well maintained. The location is fantastic- just a short drive to many of the Hunter's top attractions and wineries. The staff we dealt with were professional and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
