    Great stay

    rating26 Feb 2025

Stayed in a 2 bedroom appartment, beds were so comfortable, view was lovely, place was clean, The handle and locks in one bedroom window were broken, which made it very hard to close after opening it..But other than that it was a lovely stay in the appartment, with trams one block away and shops close by..We will stay again, when we visit Melbourne.

    Disappointing.

    rating13 Jul 2024

Disappointing service. Booked through ACD as it seemed like good value and we love the Dockland area. Unfortunately, the apartment is in dire need of an update and a good clean. We were escorted to the apartment as it was around the street and a little complicated to get to. When we entered, one of the blinds was of it’s track and the guy said, he would send someone to fix it. He didn’t, so I managed to fix it, which allowed us to then use the balcony. The slats under the bed are all broken and the mattress is an old spring, which was incredibly uncomfortable, especially in the areas where the slats were snapped. We’re told that there was a pool and gym, so we went looking for it only to get locked outside for ages because we weren’t given the key that gets you back in. Had to wait for a resident to here us calling for help. Went back to ask about the key and were begrudgingly given the ‘red key’ with a stern warning that we had better not lose it! The red key is also the key that lets you access the rubbish chute, which we were told we must use or risk a fine if we left any rubbish bags in the apartment. There was a weird cupboard which had a wet picnic blanket and some odds and ends. When you open it, the apartment was flooded with a really strong mould smell, which took ages to go away. The bathroom also had big patches of mould and the couch was gross with stains. The bedroom window was tapped shut with thick black gaffer tape and the cabinets didn’t close properly. On a positive, the view was fabulous and the hair dryer, washing machine and dryer all worked well. The reviews are probably higher than it actually is, because there was a flyer that said if you tip 5* you go in the draw to win a $100 voucher. Not worth it. This review is honest.

    DO NOT STAY HERE

    rating01 Apr 2024

A deep clean would not fix apartment 906 at the Arkley booked through ADC Apartments, Docklands Melbourne The bedding was the most disturbing- sheets and quilts were marked and dirty. The stains on our mattress were putrid. This alone is unacceptable for a ‘ luxurious’ holiday letting as advertised on your website. We didn't pick on the small stuff: stained carpets, grubby worn armchairs, marks on walls, build up of dust etc but..The air vents were black, the floors were sticky, ‘the fully equipped modern kitchen’ that you advertise didn’t even have a pair of tongs, the dishwasher was putrid with smelly dirty water that hadn't drained out and food scraps still in the bottom of the washer, cutlery had put away dirty with obvious remains of dried food stuck to it, the gas stove would not light, the range hood vent is in desperate need of degreasing, and there was not enough cutlery or crockery for the number of guests we had booked/paid for. The toilet would not fully flush, mould was growing on bathrooms doors and walls, the bathroom tap dripped constantly, showers weren't clean, Foxtel didn't work, 6 of the ceiling lights were blown, most of the appliances (bedside lights, clock etc) could not be used as there was no power points nearby and no extension leads to plug them in, some of furniture was broken, drawers, cupboard doors etc and one side of the dining room table was completely inaccessible because the space was just to small in the so called 'spacious luxury apartment’ When we went to the office to address the situation we were met out on the street by a staff member having a cigarette. We were told there was nothing he could do as he didn't have a key to that unit. He asked for our 2nd key- (which we never got back) then said there was still nothing he could do as there were no cleaning services available that day - he did back down on that and 4 clean towels were later put in our room. (we booked a for 5 people) we hadn’t complained about the towels -they were the cleanest thing in our room. Some of the light bulbs had been replaced. He said he would call us when he'd organised for us to be moved to another unit - we never heard from him again. When we checked out during business hours on Monday and the office was shut. We went back in the afternoon and the office was still shut. Since returning home I have emailed and called - still no response. Advertised as 'Best Serviced Apartment in Melbourne for Two-Bedroom, Spacious, Luxurious Accommodation with 24/7 guest support. This is FALSE AND MISLEADING The photographs and description of the unit advertised is not what we were accommodated in.Recent reviews on Google and Trip advisor suggest we are not the only dissatisfied customers feeling what you advertise misleading and misleading and clearly nothing is being done by management to rectify customer complaints. What was advertised is false, misleading and overpricedWe have contacted the property, they offered $200 refund off the almost $4000 bill for a 3 night stay and a deep clean at "no extra cost to us" and said they hope to see us again....

    A nice view non-executive apartment

    rating21 Jan 2024

Location is city fringe, you can catch the free tram to city. A nearby shopping Center with Woolies and restaurants. Building is over 20 years, if you are lucky, hopefully your unit is updated and well maintained. Most are old without good maintenance. The photos posted are old and mis leading. The unit does not in good and clean condition. Wifi is poor. Noisy air vents in the unit and dirty balcony.

    LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL

    rating09 Jan 2024

I would like to take the opportunity to provide you with some feedback in relation to our recent 5 night stay with Accommodation Corporate Apartments (4 star). While we originally booked a three bedroom two bathroom apartment, we were lucky enough to get allocated a three bathroom apartment. That was fantastic and thank you.1. Communication in relation to check-in was non-existent, no follow up email, instructions etc. It was just lucky my cousin had checked in a lot earlier and the man at check in advised he was leaving at 5.30pm. We were not due to get there until after 6pm as we were driving from Adelaide. If there was a time frame, this should have been communicated.2. The iron provided was filthy dirty (black) and no ironing board provided (later received, after requested)3. No coat hangers to hang our clothing!!! All rooms have fabulous large robes so ample hanging space but with nothing to hang on. We, just like other people have travelled and need to hang clothing up. Upon request these were provided.4. The internal bedroom not only didn't have an air-conditioner but it didn't have a fan!!! It felt like 45 degrees in this room. A fan was delivered upon request.5. Cleaning, or lack thereof, was a bit upsetting. Our bathroom had a large build up of pubes behind the door (not ideal). The lounge in the main living room clearly had never been moved because when we moved it, we came across malteesers, twisties, some other chip, a blue crayon not to mention the thick dust. Ooohhh (photo attached)6. Our bathroom had a broken toilet seat and a seat that wouldn't stay up as well as a nearly hanging off the wall towel rack. 7. While trying to keep the apartment clean, there was no hand broom or broom at all to be seen (there was however, a vacuum cleaner). There was also a lack of toilet brushes in each of the bathrooms.8. Our bedroom was a classic as it had a bed, bedsides and 2 x lamps. The only problem was that there was no power points to plug the lamps into as they were on the complete oppose side of the room. In an attempt to get the lamp to work, I plugged into the power point on the other side of the room. Guess what the light globes didn't work!!! In this same room there was a big blob of plaster on the carpet, strange to have that on the carpet.9. As for the kitchen, it could have been a bit more user friendly. We did not have a large knife to cut bread, veggies, roast etc. Not 1 x carving knife!!! No ice cube trays and a salad bowl that could not have held a salad as it was tiny. How do you call this self-contained. We had to go across to the shops to buy bowls, oven trays etc. As for the milk left as a courtesy. Not enough for 2 coffees - 5 nights for 5 people!!! Nothing to cut through the grease or to wipe over the benches and tables with, ie. spray and wipe or similar and a cloth not a sponge. 10. The TV reception was also not of good quality. One night we didn't get a signal at all :(11. Probably the most dangerous in the apartment would have to be the apartment front door. It really should have a slow release on it and a lock in door stop for when you load in and load out. The amount of times that door slammed shut just because we had a window open was scary. On the upside, we loved:-1. The location and proximity to the trams and shopping. A1!!!2. The beds were really comfortable.3. The showers had great pressure.4. The lounge was really comfortable and big enough for all of us to be able to sit down together.5. Sufficient wine glasses. We would certainly stay in the Docklands area again when next visiting Melbourne but, think some attention to detail to what could be such fabulous accommodation needs to be taken.
