    I would strongly advise anyone to avoid staying at this property.We stayed at Comfort Inn Dandenong from 6–8 March (Room 136) with our young child, and the experience was completely unacceptable — both from a safety and hygiene perspective.From the moment we arrived, the environment felt unsafe. There were individuals loitering around the premises who appeared to be under the influence, an altercation occurring at reception, and an overall atmosphere that was not suitable for families. At one point we were approached by a woman making explicit comments in front of our child, which was extremely distressing.Throughout the evening we were subjected to ongoing disturbances including shouting, door slamming, and people knocking on our door. We did not feel safe leaving the room and were effectively confined for our own safety.The room itself was in poor condition and did not reflect what was advertised. It smelt strongly of urine and cigarettes, the carpet was dirty and damaged, the bedding was stained, and the door lock appeared insecure — which only added to the safety concerns.We raised these issues with staff, however no meaningful resolution was provided. Since then, we have attempted to resolve the matter directly with the business, including formally requesting a full refund, but have been ignored.This was not a minor inconvenience — it was a genuinely unsafe and unsanitary environment, particularly concerning given we were travelling with a child.We have since escalated the matter through Consumer Affairs Victoria and other appropriate channels.I would not recommend this property under any circumstances.

    I booked online , 2 days later I rang and checked that I didn’t have to pay anymore when I arrived “ no no all good all paid up”I arrived and had got told I had to pay a $200.00 holding deposit. I didn’t have a $200 so they accepted $100.00. That was okay. Reception receiving me was a bit ordinary.Room seems Okay but not clean , I found hair on the bed. The bad thingsNo BlanketsNo plates Small MilkNo Microwave in the room , you have to go to reception to use one and that is dirty to use.People can be heard arguingWitnessed a drug deal happening just a few doors down. This use to be a descent hotel , but now I wouldn’t let my dog stay here.

    Paid for "superior" room. More like 2 star flea bitten motel.. Mattress was old & lumpy.. Went to reception and said we would only stay 1 night instead of 2 so offered for us to look at different rooms & we picked the best one out of 6. Still disgusting room. Crappy mattress & old dusty curtains. Advised reception would still only stay one night but was told that we had to cancel 24 hours prior to.. As we had "booked" in we could not cancel for the second night even though we were giving them 24 hours notice of cancellation on the second night. Had asthma attack due to cleanliness of room so left after a couple of hours and lost $300 for 2 nights.. Beware!! they have your credit card details at booking so as soon as you arrive you are "technically" booked in in their eyes. If we were able to view the room prior to being"booked in" we would have only forfeited first night for cancellation. Great way for them to get more money out of people. Definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone!.

    Booked online last minute and got a surprise upgrade to the "luxury suite". Room was big, king bed and a single, bathroom was big and very clean but that was about it. Nothng specifically "luxury" about it. Not even a microwave. No matter. Good price, good AC, good TV and away from road noise. Bed wasn't overly comfortable but the room overall was good.

    The stay was like staying in the Bronx with loud & troublesome types also staying there.police visited numerous times in our stay.there was too much happening within the car park area & I didn't feel safe leaving my car parked even though there was cameras.
