    This is a well located hotel. The staff were warm and accommodating and the room was pleasant well decorated and comfortable. I was particularly impressed that I could watch English Sky News on the TV in the room. We broke our stay and returned to find instead of a double bed we had two singles. We did not make much of this but were very impressed when we returned after a day sight seeing to find they had changed the bed to a kingsize double.     Stayed in a recently renovated room great staff, both in reception and in the resturant. Have to admit that have been staying here for a few years and the transition from a raddison hotel has been seemless.     In all honesty I was really disappointed with this hotel. I understand that they are currently updated/upgrading the hotel but we were never informed of this. The hotel room was quite frankly subpar for 4star accommodation I would rate closer to a 2, the amount of limescale in the bathroom was quite frankly disgusting. We did not receive clean towels one morning even though we put them in the floor to request. The cleaner left their cleaning products in the room. The bed dipped in the middle and it was very dark and dingy. To top it off the receptionist who checked us in was pointless. She did not give us any information about the hotel and did not explain how the car parking reservations/validations worked. We then had to basically argue to get the charge of our room when we had paid 62 dollars instead of the 38 within the room rates.The receptionist on check out was lovely however but did not get her name. Personally I would not stay again although I will say the location was very good.     Excellent place , all staff friendly helpful .Room clean , good facilities.The young lady who organises the breakfast was extremely efficient and helpful , one of best breakfast service and standard of food .We would happily stay again !     Great stuff make a great hotel experience

    We had a lovely stay at the Flagstaff Gardens Hotel. It was our first day in Australia and Melbourne and Muhammad was very patient and helpful. He went out of his way to help us with getting around the city. The hotel rooms are comfortable and the front office staff are all very kind. The buffet breakfast is good but limited in options. The location is amazing. It's well connected across the CBD and if you are doing tours with Go West tours they pick you up from the hotel. The best thing - Queen Victoria Market is next door and it's a great idea to pick up fruits for your travel.
