    Ok location, nice rooms but terrible breakfast experience and housekeeping issues.

    Good location, a short 10-minute walk across a main road to the south bank riverside and all the restaurants and bars. Reception was located on floor 7, making the lifts busy at check out time. Breakfast was bedlam, too many guests, not enough tables, staff making it difficult to get to the food as their clearing station is right in the pinch point between the two seating areas. Food quality and selection were ok but some things were inedible, like the hash browns one morning, so over cooked. We could’ve had 4 breakfasts but only ate there twice as it was an awful experience. Food out in Melbourne was much better. Day two of our stay and our phone charger cable went missing from our room while we were out. Reception staff did not seem bothered, house keeping even worse and dismissive. Reporting the incident since we left far from ideal, with the last communication asking for the exact date and time of the incident so that they can look at CCTV! Last I knew, there’s no cameras in the hotel rooms! So we leave it there.     Stayed for 8 nights in April . Great location and service . Rooms compact but clean and comfortable .We had a minor issue in the bathroom but in was dealt with immediately .We were on the 15th floor no external noise at allExcellent service from Guido ,Kaia and Maria at the front desk / bar .Special thanks to Leah who brightened our mornings at breakfast.

    This is the best holiday inn express we have stayed in so far .The room was the right size ,the view wasn't great but we weren't there to stay in the room.Our blind mechanism broke it was dealt with within hours.The staff were warm and friendly.The breakfast area was very large and you didn't have to fightback get a table or food.The location was excellent. Not far from The Skydeck and Yarra River walk.Right across the bridge was Flinders street station. Also loads of restaurants, bars Malls & shops.

    Great hotel that I toyed at with membership points. Room was small but clean. No view from room. Reception was a nightmare with a long queue and only 2 staff doing check in. Breakfast was included and was excellent .

    Came here a couple of weeks ago, and when I was due to go Melbourne again we booked to stay here again.Excellent recognition of being a Diamond member.Hotel is central, clean and good sized rooms with friendly reception and bar staff.Special thanks to Leah at breakfast, a very bubbly personality and a great asset to the hotel.Leah also sorted out my Gluten Free Weet-Bix each morning 😀If i were to come back to Melbourne again i would not hesitate to stay here again.
