  Don't go !!! I've stayed in an Ibis budget hotel before but one dreadful . I only booked this as a hotel I've stayed in before was fully booked as were many others. I hadn't realised the grand prix was on. My superior room was far from superior ! Loose tap and cracked sink. A strange beeping noise which even they couldn't explain. Bed side lights don't work and a strange noise which is apparently an airflow system.. I thought it was the air-conditioning but I had switched that off. I can also hear people talking in the next room. I have been promised another room tomorrow but I'm not expecting anything any better. Just wondering why they offered ear plugs when I said I wouldn't sleep with the distracting noises? I would have given a zero rating if I could

  Dreadful hotel. Don’t believe there write up.

  We had a group stay so we were on floor 1,4,7 etc. nothing about this hotel has been ‘recently refurbished’. My room while a nice size stank so much I wanted to vomit. The shower was in the room and the handbasin with a flimsy wrap around curtain. The smell was the drains of the shower. The rooms were not clean. The whole hotel was not clean. Rubbish bins and laundry trolleys stayed in the hallways for our whole stay. The window looked straight into an office building and was so close I could read the screen of the office worker. The air con was broken. The bedside light was broken or missing. I put my finger into the socket thinking it was black and there but no, just a hole. I’m lucky not to be electrocuted. Walls are thin so you hear everything and appears to be frequented by people who are drinking and drunk. They refused our Accor card so I’m not even sure it is actually an Accor Ibis hotel. Avoid this at all costs. Only positive was it’s in the cbd.

  I’ll start with the one good thing and that is the young man working the desk on Feb 4, 2026 at 2:30pm. Ok so here is the bad.. the rooms are filthy, you have to keep the bathroom door closed when you shower or the fire alarm goes off. The toilet is cheap and flimsy and there is no transportation to the hotel. I checked out 30mins after checking in. Paid the SamPrice (same day) at the Royal Park.

  Absolutely poor experience We visited with Family this Jan 2026 and the cost per room is same as any 3+ star in Sydney. Room is extremely small n scary and not worth the moneyNo arrangement for a glass of water either in the room or floor - neither is an one interested in helpingThe afternoon we reached we had to eat Lunch and when requested for some pates and spoons we were told by a staff that "we are saving the plates & bowls for next day morning breakfast so couldn't give plates" - unbelievable The receptionist is extremely unprofessional and rude, no sense of gratitude towards customers whose income builds her salary , she taps with a pen to call customers , rude and demeaning lady.There was a homeless person at reception cooking food is the kind of ambience this place holds .We booked the place for 4 days but ran away in less than 24 hours , don't fall for pictures uploaded all around, its all exaggerated

  Extremely poor, no service at all. Promised 24-7 reception service, lack of staff and staff needs to take break I understand but not an excuse to left customer with no service for 1 hour? Call Accor service explained the same issue 3 times with the staffs? Is it necessary? And no solution, can’t find the hotel reception on behalf of customer. After the complain, also no follow up. I’m extremely disappointed as loyal Accor customer. One of the worst experience ever. The room is okay, but how could you install the air conditioning right next to the pillow? No hairdryer and kettle doesn’t fit the sink to take more than 40% water. Never again to be honest. And there’s a garbage truck coming every day on 4-5am.
