  Location is nice but your view is mostly of the highway, but worst thing is the rubbish chute doesnt work and there is just bags and bags of rubbish next to the rubbish chute, and it nowhere does it say where else you can bring the rubbish, and they dont supply any extra rubbish bags (and theirs are tiny) , theres a bathroom bin but its tuched away because its rlly dirty and not been cleaned, there are no cleaning supplies (broom, dustpan and brush vaccum) drawers in bedroom are broken, theres this constant like noise in the hallway thats so loud you can hear it from the bedroom, theres no lights in the outside balcony and pool says they open at 6 and close at 10 but thats a lie they close at 8 and i havent been able to access the pool, and a few of the buttons in the lifts are broken. And when we first arrived to out hotel the whole balcony pretty much was covered in ash. Its a nice hotel but its really not that nice and you could definitely find a better one.

  Fantastic Hotel Apartment in Southbank in Melbourne.

  Imagine Marco is a service apartment and not a hotel. It was located in a very good location 5 mins walking to nearest Tram Station. During the time we were at the hotel public transport was free in Melbourne City. (Free Tram Zone). There Wifi, staff and the apartment was great. It was fully furnished with full kitchen, gas stove, fridge freezer , washer dryer, large Flatscreen Smart TV. We were able to adjust the Aircon in the Apartment. The beds were really comfy and we had a good sleep. The reception staff were friendly and are manned 24/7. There is a Woolworths opposite this apartment block which is very helpful. There is parking available for $30 AUD per night. The city chargeable parking on the street gets full every day. There is a pool, gym and Theatre that can be used by guests. We used it and had a great time at this place. The Apartment was mid-range cost wise and we experienced no noise during our stay. We stayed on 24th Floor which had nice views of the city.

  Junior Suite - 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen. Stairs up into hotel presented a little bit of a challenge for luggage. There is an accessibility entrance with lift. Front reception attended by friendly and helpful staff. Two towers, elevators up, quick availability. Hallways were clean and tidy. Suite was freshly cleaned (could smell the products), nicely decorated, modern bathroom and kitchen in great condition. Rooms were ample for our needs (2 people staying). Convenient location with a grocery store, BWS, and restaurant within a short walk. Ubers were easily accessible. CBD, convention centre, SouthBank, Southern Cross - all accessible within a 10-20 minute walk. We had a very enjoyable stay and will stay again. Please note there is a $150 security. I was confused upon leaving as the charge appeared on my card briefly (despite leaving the rooms clean and tidy), but it was a hold and not a charge - and resolved (disappeared from transactions) swiftly. Recommend highly.

  Over-promised, under-delivered....

  My family (2 adults, 1 child) spent three nights here as the base of our Sydney to Melbourne holiday road trip. Initially, I was very impressed by the look of the main lobby / reception area. It was especially nice that we had a dedicated car parking space as well. This initial impression was however quickly replaced by one of disappointment and frustration once we unpacked the car. We had been given a room on the 40th floor (very nice!), but found that the first lift we got in only went to level 36??? After asking reception whether there was another lift, we were informed that we were in the west tower, not the east... a little point that would have been helpful upon arrival. We then spent close to 10 minutes waiting for the lift to our floor (along with many other people), as one was out of order, leaving only one in operation. Eventually, we got to our room to find that access to the second bedroom was barred thanks to a locked door. An initial request to gain access was ignored / forgotten about (we waited 30 minutes), until I called again to ask for someone to come to the room to unlock the door. At this time, I also made a request for two extra towels, which was never followed through on. Other disappointments included an empty conditioner dispenser (refilled by housekeeping on request), a non-operational shower gel dispenser (which housekeeping promised to replace the next day and never did), a non-operational bedside light, no coffee machine (not even instant sachets available on arrival), cheap appliances (TV, kettle, toaster in particular), and full-flush was not working on the toilet. To top things off, as the parking roller door is kept closed most of the time (I assume for security reasons), opening of the door on arrival is dependent on reception being aware of your return and manually allowing access. On one occasion, I had to walk into reception to ask for the door to be opened, at which time the staff looked surprisingly at the monitor, apologised, and opened the door.Despite all of the above, I will say that overall things were very clean and tidy, the location was brilliant, and comparatively the cost was great. Would I stay here again...? Probably not, unfortunately. As the title suggests, the Imagine Marco over-promises, but under-delivers.
