    The hotel is overpriced for what you get. It’s a bit motel style with dated dirty jacuzzis in the bathroom. The room was spacious but noisy. You can hear every conversation in the next rooms. Bit of a random location away from any of the lovely parts of st kilda. I would suggest staying in an alternative hotel for these prices.

    We are really enjoying our 8 days in this rather old hotel. Some of the appliances like the electric stove look pretty ancient but work well enough and the decor is dull and tired. But well lit,comfortable and unusually spacious apartments more than make-up for that and there's plenty of free parking, while the attractions of St Kilda are not far away.The pool (and spa )are very nice, just long enough for a decent swim. The staff are endlessly obliging. On Fridays and Saturdays the restaurant is given over to the Jewish Sabbath and functions so you would need to eat eksewhere--- never an issue in Melbourne!

    The room was a decent size and had some good facilities. The batchroom was clean and the rest of the hotel seemed okay as well. Good price with a good locations for central and northern Melbourne.

    Uncomfortable and defensive interaction with man at reception.

    Found the man on the reception rude and argumentative when I called to ask for a quiet room - not something Ive EVER had trouble requesting - and Im down in Melbourne alot. I was staying for 6 nights and cancelled because the interaction made me feel so uncomfortable. When I rang to explain why I was cancelled, no apology. Says it all. Found somewhere else with pool and gym and slightly cheaper too - an entire apartment rather than just a hotel room.

    The hotel is pretty old, and doesn’t seem like it’s too well cared for. The rooms don’t even have a personal safe to store valuables in. Everything is not modern at all and seems a bit dusty. The location is great though, in the middle of St. Kilda. The in-house restaurant has very good kosher food, which is a plus. The staff was friendly, and parking was offered free of charge. The laundry machine and dryers were cheap and worked well.
