    I spent 2 nights at the Mantra Jolimont during the Easter weekend. Althought it is branded as a 4 star establishment, in my view and my extensive travel experience, I would rate it under.Location: Tram station is just a couple of minutes away, and a few minutes more you will find yourself in the mid of CBD. In fact the hotel is located in the city fringe with walking distance to the city centre. Its loated in a quiet leafy street, near a nice big park.Room: my room is a good size with a kitchenette and plates and cooking utensils. There is also a microwave in the room which comes handy. The bathroom is clean but very dated. Service: the front desk and the restaurant staff are very friendly. They acknowldge the membership of Accor. I received very generous welcome gifts as a top tier member.However, during the Easter weekend, guests were advised the housekeeping services were only available upon request. It is certainly not match its 4 star rating. There is a very small gym and a outdoor swimming pool.Verdict: It could have done better and make it a true 4 star hotel.

    Great stay at Mantra Jolimont. Perfect location, close to transport and dining. Friendly staff, smooth check-in, and clean, spacious rooms with all needed amenities. Comfortable bed and relaxing atmosphere. Minor issues like low water pressure and slight maintenance needed in common areas, but nothing major. Overall, a great experience and would return.

    Still here and actively searching for alternative accommodation, heating in our room is not working, stuck at about 18 degrees, outside is 15 degrees, so I guess we should be thankful for that. Complained yesterday and their reset the system but that lasted about 20 mins before it went cold again.. Complained again in the morning before we headed out and they have given us two tiny fan heaters to try and make do, they have been running all day and are making a very slight difference, but unless you are sitting right in front of them, the room is still cold. Parking is a joke, $50 a night for a lottery to find a spot, that is barely big enough to fit a normal midsized passenger vehicle in, and impossible to actually open your door when you are in the spot. Passenger has to get out and you park 5cm off the wall and hope the person next to you does the same or you end up with parking dings. Road access is difficult, due to a median strip and a host of no right turns, means there is only one way to get to the hotel.Advertised as serviced apartments - they made the bed, took out the bin and that's about it. Same damp towels, same damp bathmat, It got two stars because I am not a total animal. The check in staff were friendly, the bed is comfortable ( on the firm side which is my preference, the room is pretty quiet from external noise, but we are facing away from the roads, so your milage may vary. Whilst the shower is hot and presents a strong stream, it is a tiny over the bath type with slippery access and the shower screen does little to stop the floor getting soaked ( re bathmat still wet).My Partner has been an Accor member for over 10 years and made the comment that this property struggles to live up to the Accor standard and more akin to an IBIS establishment.... very dissapointing. This requires a manual reset. After your report, our team attended to the issue, provided portable heaters, and rechecked the room the following day while you were still in-house. At that time, both the AC and heaters were functioning correctly.We also acknowledge your comments regarding the car park. While we do our best to inform guests of the space limitations in advance, we understand the layout can be challenging, and your feedback will help guide future improvements where possible.As for housekeeping, our daily service includes making the bed and emptying bins. Towels are replaced only if left on the floor or not hung up, in line with our environmental initiative. That said, the bathmat should have been refreshed, and I’ve followed this up with the team to ensure better attention to detail.I’m pleased to hear you found the team friendly, the bed comfortable, and the room quiet. However, I regret that these positives were overshadowed by other concerns.     Location, brilliant! Parking, terrible & expensive. Furniture, very outdated. Kitchen cupboards, didn’t close, tired and need replacing. TV, only free to air, no Foxtel or Netflix, terrible. Cleanliness, very clean. Value, very expensive only paying for location. Beds, very comfy. Service, have to wait to be served more often than not for quite some time. Will I return for another stay, nope I will be looking elsewhere.     Overall this was a fine experience. It was a fairly basic hotel that provided me what I needed: a place to sleep, a bathroom, and enough warmth and quiet to unwind after busy days conferencing.
