    Great place but be careful on what you get versus what you paid for.

    Booked a long weekend in a " 2 room premium with bathrobes an 2 complimentary drinks" what we received was nice but not what was expected. No robes, no complimentary drinks. Pool is nice, the breakfast is good. Overall lovely, just provide what is paid for, without the customer having to chase it up.     A great place with great staff in a great location close to so much. Loved it and would stay again. The restaurant is the only let down but that didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves.     Rude and Unhelpful Reception Staff

    A specific receptionist made the check-in process very uncomfortable for me. She spoke in very short sentences and very fast English, which made it difficult for me to understand. Usually, when I ask someone to repeat themselves, they slow down or try to help, but this receptionist showed no consideration at all.Even as someone who is not fluent in English, I could clearly feel how rude her attitude was. She mostly used a few words in a commanding tone instead of speaking politely or trying to communicate properly.If this hotel truly cares about kindness and customer service, I think they seriously need to retrain this staff member or reconsider whether she should be working at reception.

    So glad to select Oaks on Market, the hotel was in an ideal position. Room was comfortable and quiet and I was put up on a floor that had a great view. Definitely on the list to go back to Melbourne with my husband and stay at Oaks on Market again.
