Location

Located amongst Melbourne's famed shopping and entertainment attractions, the hotel is within easy walking distance to theatres, restaurants, cafés and bars, major sporting venues and the business district. Melbourne's famous trams stop just outside the hotel to enable easy, fun travel to the rest of this great city. Melbourne International Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 25 km.

Facility

The hotel has 200 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 15 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee. Rooms

    It was a really short stay only as it was just one night. But it was a very pleasant one in any case. Upon checkin, I asked for a rather late checkout the next day. While the receptionist at the time could not arrange that, she recommended to check again the next morning. The next morning however just before I left the hotel, the room phone rang and they told me the late checkout had been arranged. And it’s this kind of small details I appreciate. Obviously they’ve made a note of my request and the arrangement had been made. The room I got was spacious and well designed, with plenty of natural light. While it didn’t bother me, the bathrooms are fairly small. A bit more detail to cleaning could be observed, as from somewhere a used bandaid appeared on the floor as well as a fake eyelash - so vacuuming wasn’t quite done right. Overall a pleasant stay and I probably would stay here again next time I’m in Melbourne, as the hotel is in the middle of Chinatown so has everything you need close by.     We picked this hotel because of its location which is central and handy to be walking distance from lots of attractions in Melbourne. The hotel is very ordinary, poorly maintained and lacking in amenities for clients. It is not 5 star and is in fact a rebranded Mercure hotel. The bar is closed on Sunday and Monday. Customer service is poorly lacking and in fact I am sure that management do not understand or respect customer needs. This hotel is 3 star at best and to charge over $300 a night is ridiculous . I strongly recommend looking at other options if you are looking to stay at a proper 5star hotel in Melbourne. Cannot recommend.     Very Disappointed This is not a 5-star hotel at the moment, This is the first negative review I have ever done

    Very Disappointed with some aspects.Not easy to pull up in your car to unload children and luggage for a 7-night stay. And the main restaurant Eva's not being open for lunch or dinner was a total surprise and extremely disappointing especially as we had 4 adults and 3 children.the rooftop bar/restaurant was not really suitable for children, and the food was substandard totally not up to Accor's standard.The rooftop bar manager she was very rude, so we only went there the once of our 7 days stay.The roof top bar/restaurant only open 5 days a week but that was ok because we would never go back to it. PositivesBreakfast was good in Eva's mezzanine level which used to be the fine dining experience and great staff. In Brisbane a barrister coffee is included in your breakfast price but not here. Our 2 rooms were very spacious and comfortable, great bathroom which had a sliding door above the vanity opening up to the main room.     Friendly staff but not a good experience

    Stayed at the Pullman for a 30yr anniversary. Unfortunately the experience was not great. Blocked drains in the bathroom caused a room change which impacted our dinner plans.
