  Very convenient location to Austin hospital where my father was getting treatment , Jessica was an absolute delight she is an asset to the company. Rooms were great, clean and very comfortable!!   Location was fantastic, check in was easy & fast with very friendly and helpful staff.Unfortunately the the room was terribly unclean, dirty dishes put away in cupboards, stains and marks all over the couch, placemats on dining table, walls, dirty footprints on bathroom floor, dirty ashtray left out on the balcony with buttons in it (we don't smoke, disgusting) glass sliding doors to balcony covered in fingerprints and grubby marks, cobwebs and unswept/mopped.The spare blanket had strands of hair all over it and what I can only describe as bodily fluid stains also.The foyer smelt amazing and felt inviting which was nice but unfortunately it wasn't enough to convince me to stay here again!!!

  Hairs and stains on the bed and towels.Missing cutlery, dirty kettle and fry pan.Overall there’s lots of improvement on training staff.Parking spaces are full when I went back ( which I paid for it $30/night)Inconvenient check out process.

  Although advertised as Punthill Ivanhoe this property is actually in Heidelberg. When questioned Punthill claim that it has an Ivanhoe post code therefore it's Ivanhoe. It is not expensive but be aware of the downsides.The apartement we had was fairly cramped, sort of clean butwith a lack of detail cleaning. For example the cushions werestained and gave the impression that they had been there for many years and definitely need replacemnt. Loose tiles on the balcony were repaired by cloth tape not reset withappropriate adhesive.Used linen and some rubish was left outside the lift until later in the afternoon - not a good look !.As commented in some other reviews there was only a couple of clothes hangers and the coffee and tea offerings were fairly mean.There is no full length hanging space.The car parking is only good for small cars.The major downside of this property is that it is located at the top of a fairly steep hill and it is not convenient to shops, restaurants, Austin Hospital and the Railway Station without a car.Facilities, washing machine, clothes dryer, fridge etc are handy but expected.Over all fair value at the price but be aware. . We are disappointed to hear we did not meet your expectation Our preference is always to exceed our guest expectations. We are located on the border of both Ivanhoe and Heidelberg when the building was built the body corporate and owners chose to select the post code of Ivanhoe for our address. We're are very disappointed that the room you were checked into was not up to our usual high standard and you found the apartment cramped and lacked detail cleaning, we have since removed the cushion and the building manger has attended to the long await of the tiles being fixed. We have also now conducted a deep clean of the apartment to ensure that the room meets the standards expected at Punthill Apartment Hotels.We note the issue you had with the wardrobes and understand that this may be frustrating not being able to hang longer cloths, unfortunately these where designed before we took over managing the apartments and we cannot change the wardrobes without the apartment owner's permission. We note your frustration with the location being on top of the hill, there are limited shops across form the Hotel and many of cafes restaurants and shops down Burgundy street. There is a bus stop across the road that guest can take to access these and come back up the hill.We note your suggestion regarding more tea and coffee, any time you require items such as this during your future stays, we'd be more than happy to provide them, so feel free to contact Reception.Thank you again for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay we are always looking at ways to improve guest stay where we can.
