Overall poor experience 2 days 17/05/26. Reception took 10 minutes to attend to process checkin, during booking was not notified painting works would be conducted: floor covered in plastic, painting tools, paint. Painters dust everywhere. Lumpy and unsupportive bed. TV not setup. Really missed opportunity for repeat business as I travel to location frequently.

I would describe Punthill as traveller hotels, you don't have huge expectations other than a comfortable place to stay, while you work. Punthill Knox should be closed down until they rectify the unsanitary state of the rooms, we saw.Overall cleanliness was appalling, the bed, and bedroom, stunk of cigarettes to the point that all our clothes, left in the wardrobe, had to be washed to get rid of the smell. The sofa had stains multiple stains, and smelt. It also had some food stuck to it, when we arrived. We were forced to clean it as best we could and then buy a bedsheet to put over it, for our stay. The airconditioner had black mould all over the vanes, that we had to clean off and every surface had to be cleaned. The room smelt for the entire time we were there.The hotel was full so we had little choice but to clean the room ourselves as it was not possible to move as I was going into hospital, the next morning, so my wife cleaned the place while I was in hospital.The staff member present was pleasant to deal with but had little options available. This was the second room we saw and the first was unsuitable for another reason, but was equally dirty and stained.Unfortunately, photos don't always show how bad something is and, of course, you cannot smell a photo. But I have attached one of the aircon to give you an idea.

Sadly the interconnecting rooms smelt putrid of cigarette smell. Accused by the hotel of damaging the oven door via email over 24 hours after check out (although I alerted them to the smell night of check in via email) and despite them accepting it smelt bad it was a poor customer service experience. Great accomodation for a family, close to major shopping centre with everything you need.

Very convenient location to Knox city Westfield which has all the shops and terrific eating options. Adjoining rooms were fantastic for a family of 5, with a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, and cooking facilities. We will definitely be back! Good location but not refreshed enough for cost

Bed was great but overall one bed apartment needed a refresh. Dirty marks on curtain in lounge are and no black out blind - with overnight external lights on this would have been useful! Shower had mould in grout and surface of sink was peeling. Smallest useless hair dryer provided. First floor hallway had a really off putting smell - needs steam cleaned or replace carpet. Wasn’t great!!!!
