    Terrible for the price. Look elsewhere

    I stayed for two nights. I initially booked a studio apartment. When I went the room it was so tiny I couldn’t even turn around in it. I asked to see a bigger room and was shown the 1 bedroom apartment. Because it had more space I took it. But once I had moved my stuff in I discovered that It was so noisy and had unpainted plaster patching in both rooms. I asked for another room and they said they had none available. I asked if at least the price could be reduced and they said no (because I agreed on the room) that there was nothing they could do. The ‘king’ bed was saggy and uncomfortable. And although the sheets were clean they had red stains on them . Air conditioner was even noisier than having the windows open next to the freeway If you want your money’s worth , look elsewhere. NOTE: don’t pay the extra $15 a night for parking. It’s a scam. It’s not private or secure and anyone could park there.     They cancelled my booking after i contacted them about parking, they asked what breed of dog I have. Then 5 minutes later they callled back to say they have to cancel my 15 day booking due to a leak and no other rooms available yet all booking sites showed rooms available.     I stayed at Punthill Oakleigh for four months, and my overall experience was excellent. The service was consistently professional, warm, and reliable, which made my long-term stay very comfortable.The housekeeping team did an excellent job — they were thorough, responsible, and attentive to detail, ensuring the apartment was always clean, tidy, and well maintained.The property feels very safe and secure, which was especially important for a long-term stay. The building is clean, well-organised, and equipped with gym facilities, which was a great added benefit.I would especially like to thank the hotel manager, who was always patient, supportive, and willing to help whenever I needed assistance. His professionalism and kindness truly stood out.The front desk staff, particularly the three lovely girls, were friendly, polite, and highly professional, always providing efficient and thoughtful service.The location is another strong advantage — daily shopping is convenient, and public transport is easily accessible, making it very easy to get around.Overall, Punthill Oakleigh is an excellent choice for safe, clean, and comfortable long-term accommodation, and I would highly recommend it.     This is the worst place if you want to go insane or mental.     Wonderful stay in Oakleigh post 1 month monash hospital stay and pre re admission! Only 12 min drive to monash hospital!

    Peter the manager of the punthill Oakleigh hotel in Melbourne was wonderful and really showed a lot of care towards me given I’d just gotten out of the nearby Monash hospital after a month in there, and was needing to recover at his hotel before going back into there ( I live in Perth now but am originally from Melbourne so my neurologist of 9 yrs is still based in Melbourne). He was super understanding re us not knowing exactly the dates we’d need to stay til, and if anything was wrong he was quick to get the lovely jonno in maintenance to fix it. Claudia and fern at the front desk were also so kind and warm and both were really helpful too! Having a supportive environment in between hospital stays when u are very unwell makes all the difference and I’ll never forget the way Peter and the team helped my partner and I whilst we were there! Thanks so much again!:)Ps loveeed the deep spa bath that was so good for the fibromyalgia and joint pains I have, the big lounge and bedroom area, and all the amenities u could possibly need in the kitchen too! The balcony is a nice touch as well, and loved having a shisha bar right below the hotel as well! A really great place with fantastic staff members who go above and beyond to help u!:) 🙏🙏
