    Great Service & Location, But Let Down by Sewage Smell

    I recently stayed at the Quincy Hotel Melbourne and had mixed feelings about the experience.The location was superb and made getting around Melbourne really easy. The hotel decor was also lovely — modern, stylish and welcoming. What stood out most though was the bar and restaurant staff. They were genuinely kind, made eye contact, smiled, and provided warm service that felt like a real treat in Melbourne, where hospitality can sometimes feel a bit transactional.Unfortunately, the experience was let down by a strong sewage smell in my room every evening. It became hard to relax or enjoy the space with the smell lingering around. My colleague, who was staying on the same floor, experienced the same issue, so it didn’t seem isolated to just my room.It’s a shame, because without that issue this would have been a really enjoyable stay.

    Very noisy, I stayed in level 3 and could listen to music all night long. Then after asking to be changed I went to level 5 which was a little better but still noisy from construction work next to Quincy hotel. I found inconvenient not being able to adjust room temperature as the only option was cooling or off which didn’t help the room get warm on a cold night.

    They never pick up the room service phone every time I wanted a bucket of ice or a blanket or any question had to walk down to reception. Our bathroom supplies were empty when we arrived too. Nice enough but as I said do better .

    Nice inside, location great but very noisy if you're needing to sleep! Restaurant is quite nice also.

    It’s nice city view from the indoor swimming pool and gym. It’s also very convenient to travel around the CBD, Chinatown and Queen Victoria market. The tram service, bus service and metro station are also nearby. The good thing is that this hotel is near to the pickup point of my klook land tour bookings which makes my trip even smoother.
