    Fair Price for a City Stay

    Lovely welcome at Reception. The room is a little oddly shaped by has everything you need especially for a long stay- stove top, good sized fridge, washing machine and dryer. The state of the carpet is bit off putting- heavily stained and a bit bumpy in places. The wall art is a bit sad. It was quiet and had a great view. The bed was on the firm side and a little small. Not sure about the pillows, as we had our own. Apart from the downsides it was a pleasant stay and bargain price for the city.

    Walls, carpets and corners of the room were quite dirty with lots of little scrapes and stains, no hot water for final day of stay due to a boiler failure (for the entire building). Otherwise had everything needed for a work trip. Extremely good location for access to conference center.

    Great location. Not much around here BUT it is on a main tram line that will quickly take you into the city or to the beach.Contemporary design. Clean.The rooms have a tiny kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room. Perfect for a longer stay in Melbourne. 2 adults max and 1 child. Otherwise it would get cosy.

    Poor service. Clean sheets and towels once in the whole stay. Hottest weekend of the year. No shower curtain, no ice, no glasses. Broken Air Con. Was cooler outside than the room. Avoid. We complained twice and they just shrugged their shoulders. And why a hundred dollar deposit?

    What a poor excuse of a hotel!! Management cancelled my nearly year in advance booking to make more money off the F1 weekend & threw my 6yo son & I out on the streets saying they were doing renovations on the busiest weekend of the year?? Thank you for ruining our plans for a lovely weekend & for being so rude about it even though we were polite & we’d stayed with you previously. The way your manager dealt with our enquiry & his aggressive attitude towards us was unnecessary & unprofessional. I hope you make lots of money during the F1 weekend to retrain management in customer service & how to treat & speak politely to guests. Good luck with your renovations to a much needed ordinary/unkept/small/dirty hotel & I hope the people you charged triple for my room enjoy it!! Fyi we only ever stayed there for the location because it was definitely not for your rude personal or poor excuse for a room.
