    Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Can’t recommend this enough, super clean, staff lovely, has a great events WhatsApp group and has absolutely everything you need. Have stayed in a few hostels in Australia and nothing is even close to Space

    Nice hostel but I can confirm bedbug problem

    Stayed at this hostel on and off over the years. This time I have bedbiug bites all over my body I have encountered bedbugs before and know how the bites and symptoms look like Bites all over my body where my body meets the mattress and on my face. I have met a few other people here with the same bites on there face but people would be in denial.Apart from this the hostel is great but unfortunately I believe this hostel is infested because people 5 floors up had the same bites. People always switched rooms each week so it's inevitable really plus end of summer is the worst months due to the warmer weather I believe they wouldn't want to shut this hostel to deepclean because it's so big and potentially a impossible task and bad for business. Although they should I also believe 95% of hostels in Australia have this problem it's not the hostels fault but just want to warn people. Stay safe out there my whole body is itchy and red bites. Disappointed when I spend 480 for a week

    Perfect location, amazing rooftop views of the city & loved our stay here!

    Me and my partner stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom during our stay here for 6 nights. This was our first stop on our travels for the East Coast of Australia and definitely set the standards high! Super friendly staff, the hostel had different things planned for different days and a free BBQ every Saturday which was great! Perfect location and easy to get around the city with good transport links to the trams. A decent sized room and comfy bed, perfect for travelling on a budget. This was our first time staying in a hotel with shared bathrooms, however they were always kept super clean and plenty on each floor to ensure there was enough for everyone. The kitchen area was huge with great facilities and the rooftop had amazing views of the city and even a hot tub! Definitely recommend staying here when visiting Melbourne!

    Amazing!We stayed at Space for a long weekend in Melbourne. The facilities were clean, modern and comfortable. The hostel itself is in a great location, within walking distance from the CBD and some really nice coffee/food spots. The staff were amazing and really helpful (Shoutout to Murielle, Alex and Jordan!). Also great value for money!We would definitely return!

    We (Daughter 33 and I) were on a flying visit to Melbourne (for the Rugby) and just needed a bed/shower so the twin room was ideal. Very clean and comfortable, centrally located and great value. For a hostel it was very quiet (people respected others). Would happily stay there again.
