It is located just opposite the Southern Cross Rail Station and is within walking distance of the Exhibition and Convention Centre, Yarra River and Crown Casino. City Circle tram connections are 500 m from the hotel and it is 500 m to the Central Business District and Melbourne Aquarium. Melbourne Airport is just 15 km away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 163 rooms and 6 suites. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Make sure given correct room

    Hotel room given was extremely small - with only double bed not king size as booked. We asked for king sized bed and they offered us a room with interconnecting door. You could hear the guests in the adjoining room. They showed us another room but wanted an extra 300 dollars for the three nights - we bartered and paid 200 dollars.Breakfast was ok - but hotel needs updating really.     My daughter and I stayed here in the King room. It was a good size room. Had coffee capsule, tea making facilities. Staff were very obliging, managed to check us in slightly earlier, though our room wasn't ready they found one that was. Location is perfect. Across the road from Southern Cross Station, therefore ideal when catching skybus into the city from airport. Close to trams, going wherever you needed. Very soundproof as could not hear outside or neighbours in the hotel. Bed was comfortable, shower we large and good water pressure. I would recoommend this accomodation and would return.
