    Our third stay for 2 nights

    My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in a Superior Room. This was our third stay in this Resort over the years. We have also stayed in all the other RACV Resorts in Victoria, several times and will continue to do so in future every year. We are retired and we always see many other retirees whenever we stay.We dined in the in-house restaurant on both nights. The food and service were excellent. I swam 100 laps in the swimming pool every day and we played table tennis in the Games Room. We always bring our own Nittaku table tennis bats and Nittaku table tennis balls.

    We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment not in the main building. But the facilities were fantastic, the pools, the dining, the kids play area. All very welcoming and made a family vacation extra special. We will definitely be back.

    A relaxing winter escape with a deal!

    We booked a 2 bedroom villa as it was a winter getaway special for 2, it had a full kitchen, living, dining, laundry lovely deck although we didn’t use as it’s the dead of winter and 2 bedrooms with king beds. The king beds were comfortable with great pillows, bathrooms were good too although no bathtub. The tv was large and had good selection of movies in Netflix. The villas had a bush outlook. The cons were it was too far from the main clubhouse so we drove there it didn’t worry us, the air con in the bedrooms was extremely noisy whilst we noted in the living room had been upgraded, we didn’t sleep well at all with the noise all night long! The bedrooms had good block out blinds and it quiet outside. We had dinner at the Samphire restaurant one night and it was pleasant although we had to send the scallops back to the kitchen to warm them!! They were stone cold…..we had pizza dinner at the Mantanilla and it was good. The breakfast Buffett was stunning, so many options hot and cold, everything you want so don’t miss it, well worth the money. The staff is very friendly all of them.I used the Spa too and had a wonderful relaxing massage with Nina, highly recommend.Husband used the gym, excellent equipments! The pool looked sensational but it was winter so we didn’t use. Heaps of electrical vehicle charging stations and we used them.We would go back again when they have another deal.

    How lucky we are in Victoria to has such a high class resort for everyone to enjoy.All the staff were so nice and friendly.The food in the cafe style restaurant was wonderful, and the food and staff at Sampfire restaurant at night was so good.Our waitress Zoe was a highlight and made my wife and I feel more like family than customers.I cannot recommend the RACV resort at Cape Shank more highly.

    Exceeded expectations in every department. FoH staff were pleasant, personable, and efficient. Stayed in the main building in Superior Room, golf course view.. Clean, and modern class. Lots of stone, with light timber finishes. Iron, and ironing board. Lots of room, with tables and chairs, inside, and on balcony. Well stocked mini-bar. Unfortunately, and getting more prevalent, the mini-fridge does not have ice compartment.Bedding was superb, so comfy. Several pillows available, although I would have preferred a softer one.Several classy areas for food and drink, with great views over water, or golf course.Large indoor swimming pool, with help for those with disabilities. Decent sized gym.Pro shop very well stocked for golfers' needs. Some nice up-market attire. Staff all too happy to process bookings, and to explain the course.The course was a very stern test for a 20+ golfer, best to stay away from bomb-crater-like bunkers. Fairways very good, greens large, fast, in superb condition.Management must be complimented, and congratulated. Around Australia, and overseas, rarely have I seen such a positve attitude as from the personnel in this establishment.World class all around.
