    We stayed in an 'executive' room, whoever rated this room must have been delusional. The furniture is way past it's use by date. The carpet was dirty. The whole room needed a thorough clean. On the more positive side the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had been recently renovated, but needs a grab rail in the shower. First and last time staying here.

    A fantastic place to stay. Had an appartments with a great view of the lake and with the added advantage of lovely sunrise. Clean, tidy, and with excellent facilities.One small point - the address of 2 Lakeside Terrace can be confusing as the entrance is off Tobruk St

    A Grim Stay in Dirty Conditions

    Without doubt the most grim overnight stay we have ever faced. Outside of the front door was dirty and there were cleaning materials and re-stock condiments left on top of a drain. Inside, the room smelt of damp and possibly animals? The room (floors and walls) were dirty and the windows filthy, so much for the 'Spectacular views'. The crockery we chose to use was dirty and we thoroughly washed it before use. The room was in dire need of renovation and look like something from the 1980s. The outside table was rusted and dirty. The only saving grace was the comfortable bed and clean bedding. We paid nearly AusD 180 for the night and feel this was a gross overcharge! We would not recommend this motel to anyone.

    Lakeview PROS* Quiet * Clean* Full KitchenCONS* Old^ Shower Curtain* Lakeside door hard to shut* Very expensive ($296)We booked for 1 night through a travel agent. There is no way this accommodation is 4 star. Though the room is clean and we had a king bed it was disappointing for $296. Some renovations would improve it as the rooms are large.
