I stay in hotels extensively, and have done so for 25 years. In this time, I have never been incorrectly charged until my stay here. In excess of $100 for items from the minibar which were not used.The service was also lacking, with the check in experience poor and the service in the bar also lacking.On a positive, the room was nice.

The location is ideal, with magnificent views from the Level 9 bar and a welcoming, calm atmosphere throughout the hotel. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. Our room was very comfortable, with a large TV and a great selection of complimentary movies. What really stood out was the team. Everyone was genuinely dedicated to ensuring their guests had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Crystalbrook Kingsley has become our go-to hotel in Newcastle. It's right in the heart of the city, with an outlook over the harbour on one side and a nice park on the other. As always, all of the staff that we came in contact with were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. It was a Sunday night when we stayed this time, and unfortunately the in-house restaurant was closed, so we decided that we'd have Room Service for dinner. My wife was somewhat concerned in ordering dinner on a tablet, with a somewhat restrictive dietary requirement, as to what she'd actually receive without having the opportunity to discuss the dietary implications with the chef. When dinner was delivered though, they advised that the meal had been prepared in accordance with the dietary requirement, and she was somewhat amazed that it was one of the nicest restaurant based meals that she'd had of recent times. A special thank you to all the kitchen staff, for their professionalism and dedication.

Only stayed one night, hotel has a good vibe and helpful check in staff. Comfortable bed and fluffy towels. No Netflix capability on the TV and the $50 parking fee is very expensive for a regional town Next time I will be staying somewhere else

I had a lovely stay. I'm in hotels 120 nights of the year & this was an absolute delight.The room was 204 & was just great. The mini bar was reasonably priced & everything in the room had that nice little touch of luxury from the linen to the soap.The restaurant on the roof was lovely with brilliant food & service.I booked the valet parking before arrival.I would definitely stay here again, top quality experience.
