    Totally disingenious horrid deceitful place. Avoid

    Same as the previous reviewer. We were booked elsewhere and they cancelled due to the Cyclone Narelle, on 27 March and provided a full refund. We contacted Exmouth Escape in a panic and asked if they were open and was everything OK. We received assurance all was fine. They failed to menstion that Learmouth airport had been oblierated and all flights cancelled . Also the airport road were unpassable. The high street was under water and the WA state had evacuated all travellers and accomadation reservered for emergency workers only. Now refuse to isssue a refund despite force majeure circumstances. To say they are disindengious is a understatement. Emails are ignored. The lack of customer service is appalling. Dont take a chance here. There is much better accomadtion. Companies like this deserved to be named and shamed. I am speaking to Channel 9 to highlght.     Ok accomodation, dodgy car rental

    We stayed at this hotel recently and whilst the accomodation was ok although the floors were dusty when we arrived, please please DO NOT hire a car through them. Whilst they seem cheap enough, for us they came up with a bogus claim of a stain inside the car that could not possibly have been us and they charge your credit card an exorbitant amount for so called “cleaning” for what at best would have required a damp paper towel from the images they sent. This really did feel like a stitch up and they just charge your card on file regardless of what you say. Do not risk this happening to you and go with the more trusted names in car hire which are also available in town. We acknowledge your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to respond, and we would like to advise we have responded to your previous emailsTo be absolutely clear, the cleaning charge applied was not based on assumption or incentive, but on a documented inspection process that applies to all vehicles and all customers equally. The vehicle was inspected and cleaned prior to your hire, and no staining to the interior roof lining was recorded at that time. The marks were identified only after the vehicle was returned from your rental and required additional, non-standard cleaning effort, that took an additional 6 hours to deep clean.We understand your position that you do not believe the stains occurred during your hire. However, under the rental agreement signed at collection, responsibility for new damage or excessive cleaning identified post-rental rests with the hirer. This is the basis on which the charge has been applied.Regarding your concern about transparency: the stains have been addressed by our cleaning team, and the vehicle will not be released with unresolved issues. There is no benefit or incentive for staff to report incorrect damage, and suggesting otherwise does not reflect how our operation is managed.While we regret that this situation has impacted your overall experience, we cannot agree that the charge constitutes wrongdoing or misconduct. Customers are, of course, free to share their experiences publicly, but we are confident that our documented procedures and actions are reasonable, consistent, and defensible.At this stage, our position remains unchanged. Should the additional cleaning ultimately prove unnecessary or result in no lasting impact, any applicable refund will be processed accordingly, as previously advised.Please feel free to contact us further.

    Nice and clean and tidy.

    We only stayed for the one night but wish we had stayed longer. It was clean and tidy with clothes washing facilities which are helpful.     Overpriced and under delivering

    After an amazing stay in 2021, this place has gone downhill. The service is substandard, the staff will do the minimum possible, the resort is overpriced for what you receive & I will no longer recommend it to people Exmouth Resort, General Manager at Exmouth Escape Resort, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback, we apologize for this experience with us.     Great stay in Exmouth

    We enjoyed our stay at the Exmouth Escape Resort very much. The units are well equipped with everything you need. There is a nice pool however it was too cold when we were there. The location is just when entering Exmouth and not far away from restaurants, shops etc. We definitively can reccommend to stay there.
