Basic but out of date and needs modernising - too expensive

    rating29 Jan 2026

Outside seemed to be well looked after - gardens etc - but inside was very out of date. Desperately needs an update in bathroom and kitchen area - taps look like they were from the 70s. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Expensive for what it is. It’s a bed for the night basic motel and not worth the price they charge.

Don't be fooled by the name- not a resort, just a sad 2 star motel. Do yourself a favour & stay elsewhere.

    rating16 Jan 2026

Don’t be fooled by the name, this is not a resort it is just a motel, and a basic one at that. Mostly used by FiFO workers, VERY rundown & shabby. Our room was a crappy little box with 2 small windows with a sad view of the trays of a row of enormous 4WD vehicles from the FIFOs which reversed into the space right against the building outside our window (and they took the space outside our unit so we had to walk to the end of the carpark). They then fired up their engines between 5 & 5.30am as they left. The first nite we foolishly left our window open (because the room smelled) & it was hot, only to be woken by diesel fumes from the trucks. The bloke in the room next to us kept smoking outside our door so the smoke kept coming in under the door. The room itself was dreadful, just the bed, & a single bed where a sofa could have been: no comfy chair only 2 dining chairs. To watch TV you had to sit on the bed. Pool is not as the misleading photos show- it is just a little pool that belongs in someone’s backyard. Shower was dirty, mouldy & showerhead crusted. Toilet seat broken. Curtains faded & falling to pieces. Paint missing on walls. 3 pieces only each of cup, plate, glass, cutlery- all mismatched. Room was not serviced at all the 2 days we were there. Wouldn’t have been so outraged if they had not charged resort prices for a sad 2star motel room. When I asked for a room swap they refused & actually said it was our fault for booking on a website because they gave those bookings the worst rooms! Also no supermarket here, just a weird little run down general store. The pub served good meals.Don’t stay here, stay in Lancelin and drive the short distance to the Pinnacles.

Can a business get any worse?

    rating29 Dec 2025

We booked a studio in the resort but ended up with a motel studio. This business publicises that it is a resort when in fact it is a motel. We paid $240 for a studio room that was disgusting and worth only $120. It advertised as sockets near the bed but they were actually behind the bed and not accessible. Also advertised a tea/coffee maker, DVD player, alarm clock, wardrobe/closet, a telephone in the room, tile/marble floors. None of this was true. The pillows were disgusting and covered with stains. Taps covered in green scale, air conditioner was greasy and covered in grease. Microwavecdoor was covered in grease. Shower rose was covered in scale, so the water spurted the wrong way. The bottom of the shower door looked like it had been mended with putty. When you sat on the toilet seat it made such a loud scraping noise you could hear it in the other room. Poor lighting between the room and car park. Car parking spaces were so small I had to walk on plants to get out. We were so angry that this place was advertised as a resort when it was only a motel. There were 2 swimming pools, one marked "motel guests" and one at the front near the better looking part of the complex.

    AWFUL ACCOMMODATION

    rating22 Nov 2025

Awful. Pool cloudy with lots of dead flies. Also critters swimming about.Rooms very tired and dated.Staff were brilliant though. It's mainly used for workers sitting outside drinking bottles of beer following their days work not really a tourist hotel and DEFINITELY NOT Luxury accommodation.

    Not clean.

    rating22 Oct 2025

We had a one bedroom ground floor apartment which was not clean. You could see where items had been spilt on the tiles and wiped but not washed clean. The towels smelt and the bottom sheet of the bed was dirty, not changed from previous guest??, and the pillow was really stained. The fridge also had a nasty smell.A shame that it was so dirty needs a good spring clean. Meanwhile all the staff were polite and friendly.Elizabeth
