Location

Located in the centre of Fremantle, the hotel is just 20 minutes' drive from Perth and about 100 m from the harbour and its fishing boats. The Maritime Museum, Fremantle Arts Centre and the Fremantle Prison are all within walking distance. Restaurants, bars and clubs can be found within about 2 minutes' walk, and the nearest bathing beach is just 3 minutes away on foot. It is roughly a 5-minute walk to Fremantle train station, and the hotel is 30 minutes' drive from Perth Airport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 300 non-smoking rooms located in two 4-storey buildings with lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Noisy and car parking 30 dollars

    This hotel is rather dated - we were given a room right by reception/bar area/breakfast area. It was very noisy and we had people shouting around midnight for a couple of hours. We mentioned to reception in the morning who said they knew about it - told us we should have come out and spoke to them - our view if they knew about it they should have sorted it out.They did offer to move us but we decline as leaving early next morning. Breakfast okay - had better lots of other places.Good location - but would not stay there again.Car parking 30 dollars a night.

    Absolutely lovely stay at the Esplanade, I had a friend cancel last minute so i had to stay alone, but even though i was solo i never felt lonely . The staff were great and the room was very comfortable. Looking forward to coming back on my next trip from Sydney

    Enjoyed our two nights at Freemantle Rydges. The room and bathroom were spacious, very clean. Bed was comfortable,and we both slept well.Foyer ,bar/ restaurant, and breakfast area were all well set out. All staff were friendly.

    Wonderful location, right in the middle of the shops, cafes, restaurants and wharf, but you can also eat and drink in their great bars.     Hotel in great location. Easy walk to many food and bar options and walk to attractions such as the beach and Fremantle Markets. Rooms are tastefully styled, hairdryer, shampoo/ conditioner, coffee and tea facilities provided plus a stocked mini bar. Bar on site plus breakfast available and room service. Quick checkin was appreciated. Parking is $30 in the nearby parking station or $22 overnight on the car park opposite the hotel. Just download the parking app. Would be great to provide moisturiser or body lotion in the room but no big deal.
