  Little gem in Perth

  What a lovely little gem nestled in a part commercial, part residential neighbourhood opposite King's Park and the Botanic Gardens and only five minutes from Elizabeth Wharf. No frills to the room, but adequate space. More importantly, it was very clean and comfortable, contemporary design, incredibly comfortable King bed, and great water pressure rain shower. We opted for the included breakfast and there were plenty of options on the menu each morning to vary our meals. The restaurant was also perfect when we returned tired from a day trip.The night manager, day manager and front desk staff were so lovely. One young woman in particular is worth a mention, although I forgot to get her name. She was new and had trouble with our check out, so that she had to call on the manager. At the conclusion she apologized and when we told her it was fine, we understood and would be back she said, "when you come back, I'll have progressed and be much better at this." I thought that was so sweet. We'll definitely be back!   Reception was friendly and efficient, rooms were clean and the daily housekeeping did a great job. Location was a 25 minute walk to Perth CBD but it was still close enough to get there easily. Management seemed on top of things and hospitality orientated.   OMG I dont know where to start. Ok how are at Reception on Check in. I was met by a welcoming smile by a lovely Guest Services Agent named Irene. She made check in very easy and quick. I was blessed to have a rate including Breakfast, let me tell you now that I am home toast and Marmalade just didnt cut it. My Room was out of this world, spacious, comfortable and I have to it luxurious. Whilst eating Breakfast most mornings I noticed the Hotel General Manager in the Restaurant just simply saying good Morning to the team and the guests.   Corporate end of town. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Good value. The hotel was Room had everything we needed. 24 hour desk with late check out.   The hotel offered a complimentary room upgrade as part of the guest membership benefits. The front desk service was both courteous and efficient, especially thanks to a slightly stout gentleman who, upon learning that we were traveling to Northwest Australia, kindly introduced and explained many details, and provided us with a wealth of travel magazines and maps.
