    1052506288I didn't check the reviews on this place due to other more pressing issues. Our usual place of accommodation was fully booked so I was obliged to book here due to our pending flight. I will never again stay here and will share our experience with as many family members as I can. I booked a studio room asking for twin beds but upon check-in, was informed that they did not receive this request. We were allocated a 2nd-floor studio room with a Queen size bed which noticeably sagged in the middle. I went back to ask for twin beds since I was travelling with my adult son. The receptionist was kind enough to re-allocate us a ground floor room. Here, the beds were of better quality. The bathroom, however, needed upgrading; tiles bore rust and stained grouting. Just outside our room was a small table with two chairs placed on bare ground covered in rocks; neither concreted nor grassed for a guest's comfort. When we checked in, I was told to pay a security bond of $200. On the original booking site, there was no mention at all of this fee. I used my debit card to pay for this, saw my bank account balance reduce by $200. Because we were leaving the next day before reception was staffed, I asked the receptionist on the day we checked in about the return of funds. I was informed that the return of my bond would be expedited after 7am on the day of our exit when reception staff commenced work. Got to my destination, checked my bank account, called them back to enquire. I was told I had to wait 3-5 business days for the funds to be returned. I'm still awaiting those funds ten business days later. I've travelled extensively. I've paid security deposits before BUT they were always returned on time and I've never faced an issue regarding this. A male person identifying himself as the "manager" commenced explaining to me how their security bond was simply a "disappearing" transaction. As a former Bank employee, his explanations made no sense at all. Then, another female person also identifying as management attempted to diffuse the situation by asking me to send her an email so she could take a further look. I did send her an email but she neither replied or had the courtesy to call. So, it's not just accountability that this establishment lacks, staff have poor communication skills and no professionalism at all. Perth is one of Australia's most beautiful cities with a wonderful, relaxing vibe. This type of experience in the accommodation sector just annihilates that reputation because of the people who run dodgy places like this one. It's gotta be one of the worst places I've ever had the misfortune to stay at.

    Do yourself a favour and avoid. Definitely not worth the money. Grimy shower stall, lights not working, damp carpet in bedroom and no reception on TV. Rock hard bed. Handy to airport and lovely reception staff though. Tasty authentic Indian restaurant and McDonalds close by.
