Location

This hotel is located on Western Australia's Sunset Coast, only a short 15-minute drive from Perth city centre, Fremantle and Hillary's Harbour. It is less than 100 m from the beach, with uninhibited views of the Indian Ocean.

Facility

The apartment hotel has a lift and features 48 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Rooms

Wheelchair-accessible rooms can also be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

The outdoor area features 2 pools. Sun loungers and parasols the sun terrace complete the holiday. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the apartment hotel, including tennis, surfing, windsurfing, banana boat rides, a gym, a spa and a sauna.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. A continental breakfast guarantees a great start to the day.

    Great except for stained furniture

    We stayed in unit 8 Collections. While the unit, bedding and towels were spotless the furniture was spotted with stains and one chair had a hole in the fabric. Photo attached. We placed a blanket over the couch as there was nothing we could do as apparently these are all privately owned. Perhaps the owners could do a steam clean and new insets for saggy cushions.We did inform our travel agent so others could avoid this unit. We enjoyed the heated pool. Unfortunately there was a unit being renovated and the tradesman swept the dust residue from the 2nd floor on to us as we sat by the pool showering us with tile debris. He obviously didn’t look down. I suppose Seashells staff had to clean it up! The position was perfect for our holiday.

    Location location location! Perfectly located opposite beautiful Scarborough Beach and close to cafes, restaurants, a supermarket etc etc. Spectacular views from our apartment on a big balcony with outdoor furniture. Nice staff, easy parking and well-equipped.Our apartment is getting old and would really benefit from a spruce up. Having said that it was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only downer was the poor internet access.Scarborough Beach is a hive of activity including free dance lessons on Sunday afternoon!     Stunning beach views 😍

    Great location straight across from the beach, sunsets are stunning! A short walk to beach for swimming which is great, especially with kids! The deluxe 2 bedroom apartment was great for our family. Everything we needed was supplied. Only disappointment is the pool is under maintenance. But overall we recommend, we enjoyed our stay.     My husband and I recently had 2 nights at Seashekks Scarborough. I had stayed before and really looking forward to staying again, when we entered the apartment it was so dated and shabby, nothing like the apartment I had before. The light in the second bedroom was broken as was the dimmer switch. It needed a good paint and refurbishment, when we booked we also weren’t made aware that the pool and bbq area were being renovated, That was one reason we booked Seashells for the pool and the bbq. The receptionist told me we should have got an email advising of the noise and renovations which we didn’t. In reviewing your booking, I can see that on your previous stay you selected a Deluxe Apartment. Your most recent stay was booked in a Seashells 2-bedroom apartment, which are not renovated, and all apartments are privately owned. The Deluxe apartments are refurbished, which is why we are careful to give them a different name, description, images and price point on online booking services. One of our two swimming pools is currently undergoing essential repairs and renovations. We understand the inconvenience for guests and as such have made sure we are transparent about this on our website and booking services, including Booking.com. These notifications were online before your booking date and stay dates. We do send notifications to guests before their stay but when bookings are made through third party websites, we cannot guarantee our communications via the booking website will reach guests. When booking direct via seashells.com.au we have all of your contact information.     Like an episode of faulty towers!

    View stunning! Staff amazing but oh did the accomodation amenities let them down and the management! Intermittent wifi, no electricity for hours first day! No water for a couple hours the next day! No Tv for three days. We were trying to work! Constant banging from the renovations! What a Shame!! I wrote an email to the manager no reply!! My advice steer clear! Business Manager, Sales at Seashells Scarborough, responded to this review Dear Louise Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your stay at Seashells. I was so disappointed to read of the incidents impacting your stay. After reviewing your booking information, our internal notes, and communications with you I would like to clarify some of the particulars please. On the day of your check-in, we were not made aware of any disruptions to power, water, Wi-Fi etc by yourself or any other guests staying. The following day there was a regional power failure covering several suburbs due to a fallen power line. Thousands of homes and businesses were without power, but it was restored by Western Power within the hour. When you asked our receptionist to check your Wi-Fi and TV connection she did so and both were working. As a follow up our Maintenance Manager visited the following morning to re-check the TV connection and it was also working. The power outage may have affected the reconnection of these but as far as I have been told they were in working order. We advised all guests in advance that a plumber was scheduled to fix a water isolation valve and as such, our water was required to be turned off for a 20-minute period. We advised both when the water went off and when it was turned back on and had no other complaints. I can confirm I have not received an email from you to either my work email or our general hotel email address. I would have responded promptly if so as I take all feedback from guests extremely seriously and we pride ourselves in our Seashells service standards. There were renovations taking place in one of our apartments and I have a record of advising you of this when you booked the apartment directly with me the week prior to your stay. I do hope this provides some reassurance to you, and other potential guests, of our attention to detail in communicating with guests and the quality of our amenities.
