  Hotel is located in City Center. Was reasonably priced. Staff was very helpful. Told us about the free bus lines running in the area. Very large bathroom with a shower and tub, Loved the breakfast. Many choices to order from.

  If you just need the basics like a clean room, cereal & tinned fruit for breakfast then this hotel is sufficient. If your prefer a splash pool to a swimming pool you’ll be happy too. However, if you think you will find a serviced reception to book into or a bar at the splash pool you will be disappointed. The bathroom too is sufficient if all you want is a curtained shower,toilet and basin. The is a room with a washing machine and dryer which can be used between 09:00 and 12:00 for which you pay $5 at reception and if you get there early enough to use it, you are the only pet getting your washing done that day. There is no laundry service. The free bus service into the city is handy, from around 7 in the morning to around 7 in the evening. After that, you in for a long walk after a night out. The staff are helpful and an asset to the owners. However from late afternoon to late morning there is no one around and when the fire alarm goes off in the morning, the guests need to figure out if they need to evacuate amongst themselves, until the fire service arrives and the guests are reassured. There is nothing stopping someone off the street walking into this “hotel“ and knocking on your door at any time of the day. Fortunately it appears to be a relatively safe area.

  Nice enough bedroom and good king size bed, but very small bathroom with the toilet squeezed in between the shower wall and room wall.Mostly unstaffed now other than a few hours in the day it was our third day before we even saw staff. The pool was unclean. Breakfast was nothing like some earlier reviews as the place has kept its bar and restaurant closed after Covid. Just a few cereals and fruit with juice delivered to your room the afternoon before next morning. Quite noisy at times probably due to being unstaffed. We found a student sat on the floor in the foyer for at least two hours using the free WiFi.Good free yellow CAT bus every ten minutes until 7pm right outside the entrance.

  The walls must be made out of rice paper for all the good they did keeping any noise out. From dawn to dusk all you can here is people’s feet stamping about, children screaming, just a loud conversation in the next room sounds like it’s being had in bed with you.Milk and juice provided in the fridge in the room. Nice touch, but why have they been decanted into unlabelled jars with no allergen or expiry information provided? It doesn’t even say what juice it is and there’s no staff on site in the afternoons if you wanted to ask. So with a grapefruit allergy I decided to give this a miss.The room was pleasantly clean enough and presented neatly. Microwave provided is a nice touch.Though after my multiple ruined night’s of sleep I won’t be rushing back

  Such a shame

  Credit where credits due , Rooms were nice enough inside, but that's where the good stuff ends. Barely any sleep as it sounded like they were having a rhino stampede display above us until late at night. This commenced again early hours of the morning. The power went out during the night and wasn't back on in the morning so while it was nice having a big jug of milk in the fridge I didn't use it as who knows how warm it got over night so that was the supplied breakfast unusable, and I love a morning coffee but of course no power means no kettle so a dare iced coffee from the servo next door it had to be. All of these are things that you can argue happen at hotels from time to time but reading other reviews (while trying to get to sleep) seems it happens regularly here and of course there is no reception at the hotel to try and get issues sorted. So I will say if you can't get a room for roughly $60 then you have spent too much. They say home away from home on the sign and if you live in an operating manufacturing plant its probably pretty close to right, although they would probably have power so you can have a coffee.
