  One of the worst motels I have ever stayed in in Australia

  When we wished to check-in , between the hours reception was open , there was nobody to be seen. Then I called a number and was told I would get a message on the phone how to check in . Well this never happened so after standing 30 minutes in the 30 degree heat I called again and he came running . Then said he didn’t know it was an international phone, however this was on the reservation. The room itself not bad, moldy shower , says the room is sound proof but you heard everything outside the door which looked like it had been kicked in once. Here it says there is a pool, well there was once, this is full of rubbish and obviously not been used in a long time. Location not bad and price is reasonable. There was just slightly warm water when I showered, yes it was 9:00 perhaps there were a lot at the time but still not acceptable. Bed was comfortable and the general look of the room was ok. I feel there was a bit of false advertising and if there is a pool that can’t be used then don’t put you have a pool. My daughter was very upset about this .

  Big room, big beds and comfortable. Has mini fridge, microwave and kitchen necessities like plates and cutleries. Walking distance to shops. Stayed for 2 nights. The cons are the tv was old not smart tv so can’t watch much and can hear noises of birds and cars at night time. Their reception smells as well of like fish.

  DON’T STAY HERE!!!

  I can’t believe this is rated 4 stars unless it’s out of ten…l what a dump. We stayed in a studio room the bed had blocks in the middle to hold it up. There was also rubbish under the bed. There were two cut out holes in the ceiling that had not been sealed or painted. tgere were curtain hooks missing. There were some type of paint splotches on the wallpaper that looked terrible. One of the windows were broken and a note was on it to say not to open it. The grounds in the front of our room the trees had been pruned and the vegetation just dumped on the ground a real fire hazard. The grounds in general were a state especially around the swimming pool area and such a waste that it isn’t used. The fridge had not been defrosted in possibly months. The front desk person was not very welcoming at all and offered no help at all, Their information blurb said the rooms were sound proof….. not when you can hear the snoring from next door. I was appalled. Would not recommend it to anyone at all.

  It had all we needed

  We booked with only 6 days notice via booking.com. & we’re lucky enough to get a room during school holidays. I was able to get 2 rooms next to each other after sending them a quick message. The rooms were comfortable, heater worked well, bed was comfy & huge + it had electric blankets. There was a microwave, toaster & kettle in the room, so we could have breakfast in the room before heading out for the day (we grabbed supplies from the shops) The only downside was we found it was abit dirty. The bathroom needs a good scrub & a few cobwebs & dust about. Besides that, it was a great stay. 10 minute walk to the train station, 5 minute walk to the shops. We’d stay here again for sure.

  The outside appearance is not appealing. Dirty cigarette butts in the stairway and the paint on the building looks dirty and is peeling. The room is not much better. Very dated looking dark brown wood with yellow walls.Clean, but very knocked about looking. The location is good for walking to shops and supermarket.Parking is good, and undercover.
