    Highly recommend dining at this restaurant. Meat was great, so many options and reasonably priced as well. We came in as a group of 12 people. I suggest you do a booking if you have a bigger group of 5 people as it gets really busy………………………………..

    The hotel has changed hands since our previous visit, the new owners said dont change it when its not broken.Well they have the last time here we could not get a table for tea and it was only a normal wekend nite this time we got a table and now we know why the meals r second rate, seafood platter was a disgrace they should be embarresed to serve it up, the 2 oysters kilpatrick were so overcooked and the oyster had shriveelled to nothing, the sliver of salmon was a mouthfull, 3 small 1 inch sized callamari disgraceful and 6 small prawns on skewers,all in all horrible,my flake was passable but by no means great, with the bistro 1/2 full the reason we got a table was the meals have dropped off so much no one goes.We at 70 years of age was given with great delight from the front counter a spa room,alas at 70 the entrance to the shower in the spa was too high for us to use.

    Booked into a 1 bedroom apartment because we thought it came with a lockable garage. Just a little hint they doesn't automatically so if you want one contact the hotel when booking to see if one is available. Checking in was easy, the receptionist was able to accommodate our garage request (thank you so much) First night was great, but the second night we had someone in the apartment above us. Voices travel down, when people are walking around up stairs its very loud in the below rooms. Otherwise I would recommend this place to other people. Not sure what the Motel rooms are like as we had an apartment.

    What a GREAT place to stay ! Everything was perfect! Our room was so clean and smelled fresh. Very soft and comfy bed and soft pillows. Everything that was needed for a short stay was provided. I would highly recommend the National Hotel Complex :)

    Great place to stay with clean and comfortable rooms.On our arrival were warmly welcomed by Michael.As we a group of oldies (all 80+) meeting in Bendigo for a reunion, he went out of his way to have one of staff Darcy find a quiet place in the the hotel's Bistro & Function centre for our Reunion Lunch. The menu is extensive and reasonable priced with all commenting positively on the presentation , tastiness and quality of their chosen dishes. By consensus we chose to have two evening meals as well as our Reunion Lunch. Congratulations to the young team of serving staff for your professional attention which was given along with plenty of smiles.Make this hotel your first choice if booking accommodation in Bendigo.
