    The amazing view was only great experience. We booked cabin #3, only to be moved to #11 on arrival, apparently he said their allowed to do that, First night tv would not connect to wifi, txt and calls ended up getting nowhere with his final reply being” You can leave and we’ll refund you remaining days?, so had to hotpot tv whole two weeks we where there, shower hob overflowed, place was dirty, unkept, ants on sinks every morning, heated pool spa never worked & groundsmen said hasn’t for a long time, I could go on & on, but when I look back on reviews, these problems have been there for years, DONT STAY THERE, a place where zero upkeep happens and landlord takes offence when you report it LisaNimmo, at Eagle Heights Holiday Units, responded to this review Hi there,Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.We would like to clarify a few points raised in your review. At no stage during the booking process are specific unit numbers able to be selected or guaranteed across any of our booking platforms, so we are unsure how cabin #3 was specifically requested or confirmed. So in a nutshell Unit 3 is a scenic unit and this guest did not book a scenic unit. What they did book was a family unit, which is exactly what they got. In relation to the Wi-Fi, we responded promptly to each report. Maintenance attended the property on multiple occasions, and as the issue appeared intermittent and primarily occurring in the evenings, follow-up visits were conducted the following mornings. We also escalated the matter to Starlink support to ensure further investigation and suggested to hotspot for the night, before tech attended... You advised that you 'did not want to do this.' It is also important to address the manner of communication during your stay. Our team was subjected to multiple instances of abusive conduct over the phone, and received a written message stating that resolving the issue was beyond our “mental skill set.” This type of conduct is not acceptable and yes, is offensive! While we are always committed to resolving issues, we do require respectful communication toward our staff at all times. At this point we suggested the best option was for you to vacate the complex and we halted communication. We invested in what we researched was the best and quickest wifi option which was Starlink, and this was the first 'issue' we had encountered in over a year. At the time of your stay the complex was full. The only complaints relating to wifi came from you. You would be glad to know that multiple guests have been in this unit since and have had no troubles connecting the TV to the wifi.

    Units 6 &7 taken. Tawdry. Basically unrenovated since the 80s. Not cleaned to an acceptable standard. Leaves piled up at door, kitchen floor sticky, cobwebs abound. A single face washer provided. The bathroom was basically a laundry with a shower installed. Bottom units - invaded by ants. Bought meat to bbq - bbq out of order. Really expected a lot better than this. Commented accordingly to letting agency.

    The apartment itself was clean.The sheets were not. Other people's hair were all over the bottom sheet - like it hadn't been changed.The spa is not heated as it was advertised and the WiFi turned off both nights at 8.30pm halfway through films.Overall a poor experience with no staff assistance when contacted except "please contact us on Monday at 9am"

    Beautiful View - Very Average Apartment (Unit 6)

    Firstly the view is spectacular. The Unit was clean and the linen lovely. BUT that is where the compliments will end as the unit was freezing with the airconditioning insufficient for the Unit which required us to sit with blankets around us the first night and the purchase of a heater the next day. The filter on the airconditioner was blocked and hadn't been cleaned for some time but even after we cleaned this the unit remained cold. There is a dangerously broken light switch in the bathroom/laundry plus the exhaust fan was not working. After going to dinner on Saturday night the outside lighting was totally insufficient and we had to use our phone torches to find our way down the path safely. Only 3 knives in the cutlery draw yet it was a 2 bedroom unit. There was a badly chipped coffee cup. The information booklet was very outdated and the wifi barely worked. The hot plates are so old that the numbers are worn off so it was trial and error to get the correct temperature. Being disappointed is an understatement. This unit cost us nearly $200 per night which I understand I'm paying for the view but I will never be returning to Eagle Heights (and probably won't be welcome either after this review) as I don't expect to pay that money and yet have to buy a heater to make the place bearable. It is very old and every aspect of this unit needs to be updated.

    Fantastic place to stay

    Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eagle Heights. Our unit was comfortable for a family of four. Great location - a short drive to the centre of town and surrounding attractions + walking distance to the main wharf. Complex has a well maintained pool and BBQ area. The views over the Bay are outstanding!! Would definitely stay here again.
