    Absolutely appalled by our stay at Nightcap in Nowra. This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.The biggest issue was the complete lack of reliable hot water for the entire stay. Three separate incidents of freezing cold showers over multiple days and clearly nobody cared enough to fix the issue. We reported this each time we couldn't access warm water and each time our concerns went unassisted. The facilities advertised online were also completely misleading. The swimming pool was green, dirty and unusable, yet this was never disclosed before arrival. The customer service was equally terrible. Every single time we went to reception there was nobody there. We were constantly left waiting for assistance, and on one occasion the after-hours phone wasn’t even answered.To top it all off, another family staying there told us they walked into their room to find cockroaches all over the bed.The manager on checkout (I believe his name was Harry) was rude, dismissive and clearly just wanted us gone as quickly as possible instead of addressing any of the very valid complaints we raised. No accountability, no apology, and absolutely no care for guests.This hotel was poorly maintained, badly managed and nothing like what was advertised. Between the freezing showers, unusable facilities, absent staff and terrible customer service, this stay was an absolute disaster. I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

    One of the worst hotel accommodation

    The staff at this hotel accommodation set the pinnacle of disservice when it comes to addressing the needs of its hotel guests. We made a couple of requests for our stay which was agreed to be fulfilled only for us to find out nothing was done about it. When we enquired about the failure to provide the requested service, it was dismissed as being not communicated and when I insisted on speaking to the person who promised to the provide the service, I was asked to contact later. When I called back to find out the reason, the call was connected to the on duty manager who was different to the person who agreed to fulfil the request. The on duty manager simply dismissed my enquiry and basically said this is what you are going to get from us and nothing else. There are polite ways to say no to a customer who is already unhappy about their service requests not being fulfilled on top of having to stay at a not so well maintained accommodation. Please don't fall for the photos.

    The pillows are nice as is the bed as well. They also have free wifi and breakfast as well included in the rate. Its also not very far from some of the restaurants in the area. The only suggestion i have is if they would have hash brown as part of the breakfast range

    We visited on the Australian Day long weekend and stayed for 2 nights.We're a party of five (2 adults 2 kids & a senior) and stayed in one room/suite. There's a bedroom (a double bed for 2, desk, small wardrobe, TV). There're 2 single beds, a sofa bed, small dining table and kitchen area so didn't have much room. Things were tidy and clean (basic).We liked the buffet breakfast. There were hot food (scrabble eggs, bacon, sausages, baked tomatoes, mushroom with spinach), cereal, bread, milk, juice. We got a few drinks cards that can be used to get coffees or drinks (from the pub nextdoor). Very hardworking staff cleaning out used dishes from tables.The pool was quite deep (around 1.5m all the way). The tennis court a bit worn out. There's also an indoor squash court. We borrowed tennis rackets and basketball to play.Overall acceptable.

    Room itself is basic but clean and fine. At 9.45pm reception came down to knock on my door (which woke up my kids) to check if my car was parked in the right spot. (Which it was) Not necessarily the hotels fault but should be allocated areas, someone smoking outside the room all night was revolting. Not great value for money, service was average and the traffic was noisy.
