    Manor House lovely but accommodation most disappointing

    Beautiful old Manor House in gorgeous countryside, lots of rabbits, kangaroos and ducks and Peace. However our hillside room 19 was damp and dark, I felt permanently cold and it was far from the main house. We were the only guests in the block one night, the drive is very steep to walk to reception so you need a car to go back and forth. Dinner was ok though expensive and breakfast ok-buffet one morning A la Carte another, the lounges etc in Manor House are lovely but accommodation NOT Peppers standard a disappointment for our anniversary as a Gold member

    Lovely Manor House

    Just had a beautiful four night stay at this Manor House. Lovely grounds, heaps of little bunnies hopping around, kangaroos and lots of bird life. Great swimming pool, tennis courts and a lovely restaurant and bar. Lovely meals in Kater Restaurant and The Nook Bar and most of the staff were very friendly. There were also markets on Saturday morning in the grounds so that was a nice bonus. Great getaway for a few days and only a couple of hours from home. Close to Berrima and Bowral and lots of wineries. Will definitely return to Peppers in the future.

    Good base for touring

    We stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel a good base for exploring the Southern Highlands. We had a deluxe room in the Garden Wing with a lovely view of the gardens. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well maintained. The hotel's lounge is a very comfortable place for a drink before or after dinner. They even have a real fireplace which when lit fills the room with great ambience The room was very comfortable and clean with a good sized bathroom. We ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel on each day of our stay. The dinner service was good and we enjoyed the food. Breakfast was not as well organised. The staff on duty worked very hard but there was not enough of them so there was a general shortage of certain items such as fresh fruit. Breakfast was disappointing. Reception staff were slow and generally not at the reception desk even in the peak arrival and departure times. I asked for the final bill to be emailed to me as happens at all other Accor hotels but it never arrived.

    What a disappointment!

    Took my husband away for a romantic birthday o/night and dinner.Remember going some years ago and thought it was gorgeous.No longer. Our room was unattractive and v inconvenient. The gardens are still gorgeous but end of story. Dinner was v average and very expensive.Believe it’s going to be refurbished. Don’t go until that happens. Room was like a cheap motel, ugly and dull.

    Location is very pretty. My mum and I went for my cousins wedding We were In room 20 at top of a hill. Which gave an amazing view. Although there was a very bad smell at top of stairs Dinner there was great.
