  Relaxing holiday

  It’s a beautiful caravan park. Friendly reception. Very clean. The cabin is very spacious. There’s a balcony where you can sit and relax. Also an outdoor sink to clean your fish in case you catch one. There’s a jetty .The only thing negative is the road to the cabins is very narrow.   CABNIS ARE RIGHT NEXT TO THE PRINCES HIGHWAY!

  I am LITERALLY a stone's throw from the Princes Highway. How is this not mentioned in any reviews. I've paid $100 to spend a night in hell.   Okay if you like people yelling and swearing!!!!

  Nice spot. Too bad about the loud mouthed, feral permanents. Very course language at the top of their voices. Management need to evict these loudmouths and it'd be a nice place. And if you can put up with the above, then along come the blokes with all the gear and no idea also swearing and calling each other foul names. Otherwise don't bother. I'd like to come back but probably won't..........   Nice caravan park, however our cabin smelt like curry

  The place was nice, however there was an all consuming curry smell that lingered. As we opened the cabin, the smell was like someone had left some curry pot running all evening. I had to spray the cabin (#20) with around half a bottle of Glen-20 and this still remained for a day or two. Actually, I am not sure if it disappeared, possibly I got used to the smell. The lounge had several stains on it and it looked quite dirty. The kitchen bench needed refurbishment since it seems water had warped the laminated benchtop. Location wise, its great. Right next to a lake with a small grocery store and cafe close by. The park also has a small coffee van every morning making great coffee and at night, there is a BBQ smoker set up. The burger and mac&cheese were a little expensive however. Kitchen utensils and crocery were in good working order and overall we were fine with the stay, it was quiet, comfortable but the curry smell really put an unexpected negative point only letting me give an average experience at the park.   Overpriced and Under Serviced

  When you pay expensive peak period prices for camping, you expect peak period service and facilities. I have been visiting this park since 1999 and since Discovery Parks has taken over, the place has significantly deteriorated. Security has been cancelled and we have been exposed to theft and anti-sociable behaviour. I caught teenagers stealing from campsites. Teenagers and younger were running around until 11pm-2am playing loud music and using foul language without supervision and no management control. My fiancee was too afraid to walk to the toilets at night and I had to accompany her. Sites flooded and our electricals were exposed to water. Rubbish bins overflowing daily onto the ground. Edges not maintained. Hedges not trimmed. Rubbish left in the showers after "cleaning". Now they want to increase the prices an additional $10 per night for the same period! How is that justified? We only go because of family and friends and the limited availability elsewhere for our group. Otherwise, we would look elsewhere. I would suggest you do the same.
