    23 minutes ago on Google1/5HolidayDisappointed beyond words, Booked a 3 night stay 2.5 weeks in advance and chose the unit we wanted to stay in, dealing with Laura was easy and she was most helpful. Upon arrival on 29/01 we picked up our key from the key box, the unit we opened was not the one we booked, it was dirty, musty and mouldy and smelled like an old peoples home. We rang the after hrs number and a lady on sight came to see us, she was apolagetic and as helpfull as she could be. I went to the office the next morning and spoke with another lady, don't know her name, nor do I care to. She told me that at the last minute the owners of the unit we originally booked decided they wanted it, so, without any communication via phone or email, it was assumed we would be happy to wallow in the dirty smelly room for three days. As a Paying guest it would appear you no rights or given any consideration when it comes to your booking. In my opinion it would seem the owners of the original unit we booked are arrogant and entitled enough to be happy to shuffle people out of their unit at a moments notice without so much as batting an eyelid. Surely a plicy should be in place, where by if a unit is in the rental pool, owners should have to blackout dedicated weekends and holiday times by giving at least some notice.     Great position close to eateries and the beach. For the price we thought it wasn’t value for money. Room was very small and basic. The shower is very dangerous very hard to get in and out for elderly and small children. Cracked hand basin. The pool was awesome, but wondered why some guests were allowed to have glass in the pool area!The staff were very friendly and polite. Would return but not to a hotel room.

    We stayed here for 4 nights during our five week stay in Queensland & enjoyed our stay so much we booked again at the end of our trip. The place is easy to find & although car parking is supposed to be guaranteed there are only a few spaces available, although in fairness we never had a problem with this. We rented a one bed apartment with a sea view. Value for money wise it is spot on.

    The resort is located with spectacular views and is within walking distance to most places and the car can be left parked till departure. The complex was opened in the late 90’s and could do with some TLC. The pools were great and we had no problems with the lift with a luggage trolley very handy. Service was not an issue with reception being very helpful.

    Great view, poor apartment

    We stayed in apartment 39a on level 3, which had a magnificent ocean view from both the loungeroom and bedroom. However for $4,060 for 14 nights ($290/night) we found the apartment very basic. There was only a double hotplate, microwave, toaster and kettle in the kitchen (no oven, griller, dishwasher, sandwich maker or airfryer), which made meal preparation difficult. The TV had to be navigated through Foxtel, which caused us problems as channels frequently didn't have sound, so the TV had to be turned off and restarted. Also while watching a movie on Foxtel the sound frequently lagged further and further behind the picture, so the TV had to be restarted 16 times during a 98 minute movie. The bathroom floor is about 2 cm higher than the bedroom and passage floors, which is a trip hazard. Although there is a lift from the basement, 7 steps still have to be navigated to access the apartment, which is an issue for the elderly and those with prams. No vacuum cleaner, just an old broom and mop. Cutlery and crockery appeared to have come from an op-shop, as nothing matched. There were only 2 dessert spoons, 4 forks and 5 knives (all different). The base of the clothes dryer is above average head height, which is a safety issue. Very difficult to open, load or unload. Apart from the fantastic view, we expected more for our $4060.
