    I was charged a $200 “extra cleaning fee” after checkout, which appears excessive and unjustified. The photos provided showed a typical post-stay condition (unmade beds, used towels, minor items left, lightly used kitchen) with no damage or significant mess.The property’s terms mention possible extra cleaning charges, but do not define what qualifies or indicate fees anywhere near this amount. It effectively suggests guests are expected to leave the apartment in near hotel-ready condition, which is not reasonable.I requested a breakdown and the policy basis for the charge, but this was not provided. The matter was ultimately resolved through my card provider.I would strongly recommend caution with pre-authorised card charges, as additional fees may be applied after checkout with limited upfront clarity or breakdown.

    DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!My partner and I planned to stay here for a weekend. He was rushed into ann emergency surgery so unfortunately were unable to go ahead with this. After providing medical documentation the hotel REFUSED to change the dates and did not issue a refund - stealing the money we paid.The staff were rude and unbelievably unhelpful on the phone and had no consideration for our situation. I have never been met with such poor quality customer service like this in my life.Do not stay here - they are thieves.

    The room was clean, coffee shop had pleasant staff, we relaxed in the spa bath. Good location. Reception staff were friendly and suggested we avoided the overpriced food outlets on Hasting Street. Always ask reception staff for advice on any planned trip as traffic jams and limited parking is a nightmare in Noosa. Comfortable beds. Considering the high cost of this accomodation, I thought it was miserable that they didn't put a bottle of water in the fridge.

    Unfortunately this property did not live up to expectations and we checked out after the first night, having booked for three. The room was musty and the closet for hanging clothes even worse. Bed linen and towels were certainly clean, but the bathroom was really shabby with rusting mirror and uninviting shower area. The room needs a total upgrade / refurbisment. A diffusor in a hotel room is never a good sign. No follow-up correspondence from management despite informing reception that we were disappointed with the stay and were forfeiting two nights. The resort itself was pleasant and well located but the star rating belied the reality of our experience.

    My partner and I recently spent 4 nights at the Noosa Blue Resort. We stayed in a one bedroom garden view suite. Cons: The grounds themselves are outdated and our room was in desperate need of renovation. We were also disappointed to find that our “king bed” was actually just two twin beds pushed together which made sleeping uncomfortable as the beds would often separate. The room was also not cleaned for the duration of our stay, which would have been fine, if it was not dirty on our arrival. There was dust everywhere, we found a cockroach in the microwave cupboard and there was mould on the ceiling of the bathroom. Pros: The location is extremely convenient (less than 15 min walk from hasting street). We found the pool area to be enjoyable although there was not enough seating for peak periods. It served us for the purpose of the trip but would likely not stay here again.
