    Lovely helpful staffRoom clean Great view to the west (if you excuse ground level)Glimpse of the ocean from balcony Need instructions re air-conditioner & lighting (had to get staff to show me how to turn off aircon - as weird old control was attached to wall; plus lighting & fan in main area was switch & handcontrolled) Also no, eg, towel hooks in bathroom to hang wet towels Mini ironing board kept collapsing so gave up on it Pool looked fantastic (afraid never used) Though bistro was very helpful catering to my allergy was way overpriced (an eyefillet was approx 10cm diameter for $45 & no choices re sides + a salad & chips was it; couldn't eat many chips - would have loved even just chat or mashed potatoes with maybe carrot & broccolini as an option) Plus sport, sport & more sport on all TV's in there Was told by a bistro staff member opened at 8.30am, but didn't until 10amMaybe a higher floor & facing more easterly might have a great ocean view but looking west over main road, airport & a servo etc wasn't exciting Angel Lama, Guest Services / Front Office at Ramada by Wyndham Marcoola Beach, responded to this review Dear Beverleyr826,Thank you for the detailed feedback.     Great location, close to beach with a really good pool, good for families so couples beware. Our room was a little outdated and musty and very small for 2 people with 2 suitcases so choose wisely. There’s an excellent restaurant adjacent to the hotel and plenty of options across the road.     Poor to say the least

    Went there tonight for the first time in a year, why close to home for pick up from airport, now seriously I have never had a good meal from this place in comparison to price and quality ever, my partner chose butter chicken curry- oh sorry not butter chicken, sorry head calamity chef. Pulled beef burger a horrible mushy messy plate. So you may ask why we return well every year we think maybe it’s changed. Unfortunately not. If I had to rate this it would not be worth rating. That’s the truth.     Picture booking a poor AirBnb - nothing like the photos - do not book!

    Super decieving! I booked a standard Hotel room with a Queen bed for 1 night. I am so glad it was only 1 night. My room (2104) DID NOT AT ALL MATCH the rooms shown on Ramada's website. Ramada booked me into a room that was owned by a 3rd party that was part of the Ramada letting pool - only the room was so terrible. Room: Double BedBuilt in cabinetry that BLOCKED THE SMOKE DETECTORmassive shelf of owner's DVDsrandom hooks attached to random spots on the wallsBathroom: 40 cm stain on the bathroom floorstain on the shower floor.You could tell that the owner removed the standard Ramada elements, which would be fine except that they replaced it with thing that were poorly built and of poor quality that does not match the Ramada brand. I paid $158 for a night in this room as we wanted to stay close to the airport for a night. I wish I had spent my money elsewhere.     Lovely Bed BUT …. Rooms really need a Revamp and thorough clean

    3.5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐✨We recently stayed at Ramada Marcoola and while there were some positives, there is definitely room for improvement. The rooms were quite average and in need of a thorough clean. The overall feel was very outdated and tired, and the property would really benefit from a long-overdue revamp.On a positive note, the bed was absolutely beautiful and incredibly comfortable — we had a fantastic night’s sleep! With some modern updates and attention to detail, this place could really shine again.
