Location

Located a mere 90-minute drive to the north of Brisbane, this resort offers an enviable coastal holiday setting for couples and families alike. The nearest beach is just 100 metres away and sights in the area include Sunshine Plaza (2 km), Mooloolaba Esplanade (3 km), Underwater World (5 km) and Australia Zoo (30 km). Sunshine Coast Airport is only 5 km from the accommodation.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 45 apartments, which are located on 15 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the pool from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Valuables can be securely stored in a safe. Additional features include a refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave, a tea/coffee station and a dishwasher. Further amenities include a washing machine, an ironing set and a tumble dryer. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer is also provided. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms and 45 non-smoking rooms.

    What an exceptional hotel. It was a great pleasure to stay in this beautiful property for two nights recently. Our two bedroom apartment had great sea views and the fully fitted kitchen had everything we needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It was really nice that my Accor Diamond status was recognised with the associated benefits. I will be back.     Terrible place. Arrived 10pm. Followed late check instructions. No one available to provide access code. Could not get into room until almost 1am. No refund offered. Made stay very unpleasant.     At the present times 2024 December The Sebel Maroochydore has No Pool it is a construction zone. It will be this way until April 2025 . The jack hammer is deafening every day.DO NOT STAY HERE. After work is complete it will be okay but for the next 5 months do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.     Lovely hotel that is located just across the road from Noosa Beach right on Hastings. The fantastic shopping district many bars, restaurants and cafés are a foodies delight lovely staff.     Don't stay at the Sebel over Xmas 24. Major renovations going on and no swimming pool access.

    A warning. My wife booked a family holiday at the Sebel in Maroochydore many months ago, realising Xmas is a peak period. We have family in Maroochydore. We paid a deposit and we were excited about our holiday. Today we received a call from Sabbina the receptionist at the Sebel informing us, 6 weeks from the busiest peak time, that the Sebel was undergoing major renovations work over Xmas and they would try and keep the noise to a minimum. Also the swimming pool would be closed during the renovations. No offer of a discount. My wife was surprised and asked why they would undertake a major renovation during peak times. My wife asked to speak to a supervisor, Sobbina (poor girl) broke down in tears, she must be getting some upset customers when she tells them of the disruptions the holiday makers would be facing. We feel for her, not her fault. The supervisor Liani spoke with my wife telling her that they could offer a refund or they could try and find alternative accommodation for us, which they did unfortunately it was at the back of the shopping centre with not beach views, not sure if it had access to a pool, same price again no discount offered. Anyway we contacted our travel agent who has booked us into a lovely apartment at the Breeze. We were so lucky got get it , it was a recent cancellation.I cannot believe the Sebel was unaware that major renovations were being undertaken with only 6 weeks notice. Very poor. They can't expect to charge visitors the same money without the benefits of peace and quiet and a swimming pool in December.Just wanted to warn others who maybe intending on staying there over Xmas 24.
