  Beautiful apartment (Penthouse 2 bed)

  We recently stayed in the Penthouse 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms apt which is a lovely modern clean apartment with very comfortable bedding and well-equipped kitchen. It looks like it has been recently updated and has beautiful views of the beach and Wedding Cake Island. Apartments are all individually owned so some are not as nice as others. We loved our stay, it is close to public transport, the beach and restaurants and has plenty of space including a self-contained laundry. We will defiantly choose to stay at Coogee View again but will be careful which apt we book.

  Desperately needs updating and renewal of carpets and bedding. Air conditioning doesn’t work. Never again!

  On arriving at the one bedroom apartment there was a strong cooking smell. We opened all the doors and windows thinking this would fix the problem. The next day when we returned to the apartment the smell was very strong and quite nauseating. When I spoke to the lady at reception she told me that it was probably the restaurant underneath our apartment and I agreed. She said she would get the building management to check the vents. This did not happen while we were there. Although the apartment was big and spacious we thought that it was in need of some maintenance. Very disappointing. This is not part of our facility and we addressed this issue promptly, it did take some time for the cooking smell to dissipate. We have since resolved this matter with the restaurant.Our apartments are spacious in size which allows our guest to relax and take in the breathtaking views. While our maintenance is ongoing, we find it disappointing that your rating has been so harsh, as we offer an unprecedented view that is only offered in Coogee Beach at our establishment.

  Only thing that was great was the location

  Great location, however apartment needed done cleaning done. Walls by the bed were dirty. Blinds that you had to touch each day was dirty. Window by my bed was broken and that made all the street noise come in. Bedrooms need to be fitted with better blinds as the street light light up your room making it hard to sleep. Couches had stains all over them. Bathroom shower tap needs fixing. I was recovering from surgery so it was so important for me to stay somewhere I could rest, recover and was clean and unfortunately this wasn’t the case. Definitely has potential. If the apartment did not meet your expectations – which is a self-contained unit – we could have offered additional daily services to aid in your recovery from surgery. We would have been more than happy to assist you in any way necessary during this time as we have staff onsite 24/7.In relation to the broken window, it was actually the seal on the lock window that was broken and would not have caused the filtering of noise to come through. However, it was promptly repaired. We are surprised to hear that you felt the apartment needed further cleaning as all apartments are thoroughly cleaned prior to each arrival.

  Every aspect about our stay was awful. Some of these rooms are unfit for humans. The company operate the rentals AEA are part of the problem not the solution….. they will ‘ghost’ any issues or complaints. We do not have any record of your stay with us. Your comments about our management seem most unusual and it is possible you might have confused us with another place.
