    Stayed twice, for 5 days and left for a night, ended up back again because it was a great stay Clean, friendly and the rooms were great. bathrooms clean and staff very helpful Angela on reception was very polite and helpful, she gave me great tips on places to eat and places to go. Its always nice when people go out of their way to help you and generally care about the work they do. I only just arrived in Sydney so i didn’t really know what was in the area.I explored places i wouldn’t have without her helpI would defiantly stay again

    “Very friendly staff. Convenient location. Good facilities.”Stayed in a single room with shared bathroom Very helpful and friendly staff. Dan is a great guy! Room is small but has everything - wash basin, small fridge and a TV Has a nice and spacious shared kitchen with laundry facility in the same place. They have parking space though I didn’t use. A few minutes walk lots of eateries and supermarket on Belmore Road It is well maintained but an old property after all so rooms not totally sound proof. But acceptable unless you are very sensitive to noise. Great stay overall !

    Mixed bag like a Faulty Towers experience

    This review is difficult, it is such a mixed bag. The experience started poorly with major communication issues with inability to understand an email address, sending the wrong booking information to my phone with another name. Then upon arrival the paid car space was occupied by someone else who also paid for it. The check-in process took about 40 minutes to attempt to sort out the car space and I had to park in the street. The shared bathrooms are allocated and there was a mix up with that too. In the morning this was all apologised for a a refund made for the non-existent car space. The room was just big enough to walk around the bed. The hanging space was above the kettle and cups. The initial bathroom was too small to open the door all the way. On the positive side the staff apologised. The second bathroom had was next to the room, rather that down the hall and up and down stairs. The water pressure was good with consistent heat. The room was clean and the house staff friendly. Not too noisy. The bed was comfortable.
