Facility

72 non-smoking rooms are located on 11 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     Absolutely horrible customer service. Literally the worst I’ve ever encountered in my life. Gaslighted , ignored and lied to by staff in regards to blatant and verifiable noise complaints.They don’t deserve your patronage.

    There are much better places. If you have to stay here, you are missing out on a lot of things, especially customer service. The worst. Stay somewhere else.

    Good location for theatre and Central station.On 9th floor, no street noise.Good for overnight stay, good size for couple. Balcony nice.Supermarket and food outlets close by

    I have travelled extensively & APX world square is worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Service & facilities very poor. Staff are dishonest. Room aircon was poor/broken.. Blowing out hot air. The room felt damp & humid. I was staying for 3 nights having flown 23 hours for ‘dream holiday’. I submitted a complaint in writing & spoke to duty manager on day of arrival. They said the hotel was fully booked & they could not do anything that night. The next day the duty manager called me & advised I could change rooms & agreed a refund for first night due to poor experience. Once I check out of the hotel, I received email saying a refund wont be honoured as the aircon was adequate. Aircon was not adequate , hose pipe was blowing out hot air in room.     Always a pleasure to stay at APX World Square. The location can't be beat, the value for money stay is another attraction and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.The rooms are ideal for a stay in Sydney. Ample space including a lounge, work desk, kitchenette, bathroom, TV, comfy bed and a balcony view of the citylife.Everything is nearby it's easier to ask what is not nearby.Generally safe but exercise caution if arriving back to your hotel later on in the night. 24 hour secured entrance will give you peace of mind.Walking is easy during the day but bear in mind it could get crowded during the day and in the early evening. Also being based in the middle of the CBD, be cautious of cars, bicycles and e-bikes illegally mounting the footpath.Choice and choices of food available surrounding the hotel. If you can't decide, the World Square complex offers plenty of food choices under one roof.Enjoy the swimming pool, exercise room and the view from the balcony.
